' <br /> <br />M/S Swope/Truscelli: To accept the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Director's recommendations for facility rentals <br />including public safety at Red Morton Park. <br /> <br />Commissioner Davis wanted to make sure that we continue to offer <br />reasonably prices venues for people. Commissioner Joseph said she wants <br />information regarding our age requirement for facility aides; a preferred list, <br />for security guards, and how many bilingual facility aides we have. <br />Commissioner Morton stated the recommendations were fairly encompassing <br />and felt that staff could work on the details of these concerns. <br /> <br />Amendment to Motion: M/S Joseph/Swope: To direct staff to take <br />into consideration comment by Commission and public this evening. <br />Vote on Amendment: Motion passed. <br />Vote on Original Motion: Motion passed (Yes-5, No-l Davis) <br /> <br />Director Centeno stated that a notice will be sent to the neighbors with the <br />recommendations approved by the Commission this evening. A summary of <br />the Commission's action will also be sent to the City Manager and City <br />Council as information only. <br /> <br />ITEM 3 - COURT HOUSE PLAZA UPDATE <br /> <br />Superintendent Hover explained that three public hearings have been held on <br />the Court House Plaza Project, in addition to meetings with the City Council, <br />Architectural Advisory Committee and Planning Commission. Two different <br />designs will be presented at the June public meeting for further discussion, <br />Commission Joseph reported that the demolition has been delayed <br />approximately six months. Commissioners Joseph and Swope have been <br />attending the meetings on behalf of the Commission. <br />
