Commissioner Truscelli indicated she would be unable to attend this <br />meeting as a result of surgery. <br /> <br />ITEM 5 - Subcommittee Reports <br /> <br />Strategic Plan Publicity <br />Commissioner Swope reported that the sub committee will complete its work with <br />a presentation to the Planning Commission on December 7th. A presentation of <br />the plan was well received by Council and copies of the Executive Summary <br />have been distributed to Department Heads, all groups that provided input to the <br />plan as well as other stakeholders in the community. <br /> <br />Pa rk Ru les <br />Vice-Chairperson Morton reported that a meeting had been set up to receive <br />community input on November 10th at 7:00 p.m. at the Community Activities <br />Building. Director Centeno provided details on how the meeting has been <br />advertised and encouraged Commissioners to extend personal invitations to <br />neighbors and friends. Director Centeno provided copies of the names and <br />contact information for current and former PACT participants as potential <br />participants. Vice-Chairperson Morton noted that the committee would be . <br />meeting again and expected to bring back a recommendation to the Commission <br />in early 2005. <br /> <br />Item 6 - Updates <br /> <br />Fair Oaks Field <br />Superintendent Hover reported that the carpet was being installed and that an <br />issue with the placement of the light poles had been resolved. The ~and <br />opening celebration has been scheduled for 4 p.m. on November 10 . <br /> <br />Windmill <br />Superintendent Hover reported on his discussion with Mitch Postel of the San <br />Mateo County Historical Association in which he learned that the Board of . <br />Directors had approved entering into the memorandum of understanding with the <br />City for restoration of the Windmill. <br /> <br />City wide Cleanu~ <br />Commissioners White and Slusser reported on the Pride and Beautification <br />Committee Cleanup of Redwood City Parks.
