<br />(c) <br /> <br />City - The City of Redwood City, a municipal corporation <br /> <br />of the State of California. <br /> <br />City Council - The Council of Redwood City, governing <br /> <br />(d) <br /> <br />body of the City. <br /> <br />(e) <br /> <br />Director - The Director of Public Works of the City, or <br /> <br />his duly authorized deputies, officers, employees or agents. <br /> <br />(f) <br /> <br />Person - Any person, firm, association, organization, <br /> <br />partnership, business trust, corporation, company, or public agency. <br /> <br />(g) <br /> <br />Premises - Any parcel of land or any improvement thereon, <br /> <br />or any portion of such parcel of such improvement to which water is <br /> <br />furnished by the City's water system, and for which water quantity <br /> <br />charges are assessed. <br /> <br />(h) <br /> <br />Process Water - Water used to manufacture, alter, convert, <br /> <br />clean, heat or cool a product, or otherwise used as an integral <br /> <br />part of a commercial or industrial process or operation, including, <br /> <br />but not limited to, water used in commercial laundries and recycled <br /> <br />water used in commercial car wash facilities. <br /> <br />(i) <br /> <br />Public Agency - Any user which uses any premises for a <br /> <br />public use or a quasi-public use, as such terms are defined and <br /> <br />described in Ordinance No. 1130, as amended, the Redwood City Zoning <br /> <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />(j) <br /> <br />Unit - The unit of measure of water. <br /> <br />One unit equals 100 <br /> <br />cubic feet of water, or 748 gallons. <br /> <br />(k) <br /> <br />User - Any person who purchases or is otherwise furnished, <br /> <br />or uses, water from the water system of the City, whether such <br /> <br />person resides within or without the corporate limits of the City. <br /> <br />(1) <br /> <br />Water - Water furnished by, through, or from the water <br /> <br />system of the City. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. <br /> <br />Prohibition. <br /> <br />It shall be, and hereby is declared <br /> <br />unlawful for any person to use water obtained from the water system <br /> <br />-3- <br />
