&-'67-

City of Redwood City
Zoning and planning dept.

September 14,2005

Jill Elkas, zoning administrator
Blake Lyon, project planner

Weare writing out of concern as we hear that Nicoll enterprise is again attempting to
obtain a use pennit for parcels located at 150 el Camino and 20 Avondale Ave. In order
to have pumpkin patch and Christmas tree sales again this year. As a resident on
Avondale Ave, we have endured year after year of this hardship.
Each year we voice or concerns not only to Nicoll enterprise but to the city as
well. And needless to say have been met with threats from Nicoll enterprise and in-
action fròm the city of Redwood City. We are not willing to allow Nicoll enterprise to
again degrade our quality of life. At a time of year that should be filled with family and
joyous events our lives become cluttered with safety issues, sleepless nights and not
being able to park on our own street. All other complaints and concerns put aside I am
referencing the noise prohibited ordinance no. 2013 and zoning ordinance 42.3, it is
impossible for Nicoll enterprise to conduct business under this ordinance. So I am again
requesting that the use pennit for the above mentioned parcels to Nicoll enterprise be
denied and allow the residence of this quiet street have a well deserved peaceful Holiday
season. Please see the attached letter from last year spelling out our concerns in great
detail. Nothing has changed. Thank you for your consideration in this matter

--'O_--'C I
;~ ~'-ll-",~.L\r.-

Tony and Abee Turiello
47 Avondale Ave.
Redwood City

~,-,.,^, mO.^,' ..u~..._,...-
