<br />'/A-/ð <br /> <br />The four existing buildings comprise approximately 360,000 gross square feet. Buildings 440 <br />and 430 are four stories, face the freeway, and are approximately 90,000 square feet each. <br />Buildings 450 and 420 are three stories, face Broadway, and are approximately 90,000 square <br />feet each. <br /> <br />The remainder of the site is fully developed with paved surface parking areas, internal <br />driveways, and planted landscaping. <br /> <br />Below-ground parking under the existing buildings and paved surface parking currently provides <br />a combined total of 1,188 parking spaces onsite. <br /> <br />III. <br /> <br />Anticipated Construction Activities <br /> <br />Detailed plans for all proposed building changes and site improvements will be provided to <br />Redwood City as SHC applies for each site-specific approval. The following description of <br />anticipated modifications is intended to provide sufficient detail to enable the City to evaluate <br />whether the proposed improvements would result in a new significant impact, or a substantial <br />increase in the severity of a significant impact identified in the EIR prepared for the Midpoint <br />Technology Center. <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Interior Renovations <br /> <br />In order to use the existing buildings for outpatient clinic functions, the interior of the buildings <br />will be renovated, including HV AC, electrical, elevators, equipment, furnishings, and <br />information technology. SHC will obtain building permits prior to performing interior <br />renovations. <br /> <br />As part of the building permit application process, SHC will provide specific information <br />regarding the interior locations of various types of clinical and surgical facilities in order to <br />ensure that the Redwood City Fire Department has sufficient information to provide emergency <br />protection services.
