Public Hearings <br /> <br />A. Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's denial of a Use Permit at 150 EI Camino <br />Real and 20 Ayondale Avenue to allow for the seasonal sale of pumpkins and <br />Christmas trees from October 1, 2005 through October 31, 2005, (for pumpkin <br />sales) and from Noyember 15, 2005 to January 5, 2006 (for Christmas tree sales). <br />Project Planner Lyon explained the decision, that the applicant appealed the <br />decision, staff prepared to present tonight, and the applicant came in earlier in the <br />day having decided to withdraw the appeal. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />That the City Council uphold the Zoning Administrator decision and based on a <br />review of the staff report, administrative record and public testimony find that: <br /> <br />1. The placement of the proposed use on the subject parcels would, under the <br />circumstances of the particular case, be detrimental to the health, safety, peace, <br />morals, comfort, or general welfare of persons residing or working in the <br />neighborhood, as established in Article 42 Section 3 of the Redwood City Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br />2. The establishment and operation of the proposed use would be detrimental or <br />injurious to the general welfare of the City, as established in Article 42 Section 3 of <br />the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance. <br /> <br />M/S Hartnett/Foust to remove the appeal from consideration due to the appellant <br />submitting letter withdrawing the appeal. The motion passed by a unanimous <br />voice vote. MINUTE ORDER 05-215 <br /> <br />7. STAFF REPORTS <br /> <br />A. Status Update of Stanford Outpatient Center/Medical Clinics Project <br /> <br />Principal Planner Passanisi gave the update on the status of the property located <br />in the Midpoint Technology Park. He utilized a PowerPoint presentation on file in <br />the City Clerk Department.
