Advance the City -YMCA partnership for a new Veterans Memorial <br />Senior Center and community center <br />Launch the grant -funded PULLooza (Pop Up Library Learning) project to <br />deliver mobile children's outreach activities through the custom "Pedal <br />Lit" bicycle trailer <br />Initiate food and nutrition programs in the community using the <br />library's "La Cocina de Libros" mobile demonstration kitchen <br />Complete the Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) installations at the <br />Fair Oaks and Schaberg library branches <br />Plan for an interactive Pirate Ship art playground installation <br />• The Fair Oaks Community Center offers services and programs for <br />our immigrant community and homeless population <br />• The Current partnership with the YMCA supports senior fitness <br />programs <br />• City staff is currently piloting a senior Lyft transportation program <br />The Veterans Memorial Senior Center -YMCA Project is currently in the <br />master planning phase. The City and the Y are working with ELS <br />Architecture and Urban Design to lead this process and host a series of <br />community design meetings. Before final discussion at the City Council, <br />there will be additional opportunities in early 2018 for community members <br />to attend workshops and public meetings to provide input.
