<br /> 4 <br />Vice Chair Recht asked about the demographics that they serve. <br /> <br />Ms. Munoz-Bergman explained some of the nuance that impacts the demographics that they <br />serve. <br /> <br />Committee Member Montalvo asked how many Redwood City residents they typically serve. <br /> <br />Ms. Munoz-Bergman stated that it is estimated at around 1000 Redwood City residents. <br /> <br />Committee Member Becker asked for clarification as to how the organization has expanded <br />its outreach efforts. <br /> <br />Ms. Munoz-Bergman stated they brought on an Outreach Coordinator to help accelerate their <br />outreach efforts and more quickly respond to inquiries that they receive. She stated they have <br />increased the number of public presentations that they have done. <br /> <br />Committee Member Becker asked if she has a sense of what percentage of an increase the <br />organization has seen since last year. <br /> <br />Ms. Munoz-Bergman stated that she could look up some specific numbers for the committee <br />if they are interested. <br /> <br />LifeMoves <br /> <br />Chelsea Tercero, Program Manager at the Redwood Family House for LifeMoves, gave a <br />presentation about the Redwood Family House. She thanked the committee for the support <br />they have presented in the past. She provided an overview the work and services of <br />Redwood Family House. <br /> <br />Vice Chair Recht asked if they have any long term follow up data. <br /> <br />Ms. Tercero stated they are continuing to case manage families even after they leave. <br /> <br />Committee Member Madigan stated he is trying to figure out what stable housing is. He <br />asked if they have a way of measuring what stable housing is. <br /> <br />Ms. Tercero stated that stable housing is different depending on the person, but majority of <br />the time it means getting a family into a rental or shared housing situation for longer than six <br />months. <br /> <br />Committee Member Montalvo asked how many people in Redwood City they expect to serve. <br /> <br />Ms. Tercero stated that they expect to serve approximately seven Redwood City families. <br /> <br />Peninsula Family Service <br /> <br />Elissa Stankiewicz from Peninsula Family Service gave a presentation on work they do at the <br />Fair Oaks Adult Activity Center. She provided some statistics on the audiences they serve in <br />Redwood City. She stated that the majority of the people they serve are from Redwood City.
