Contractor shall provide up to five (5) 572 <br />one-gallon translucent plastic Used Oil jugs with screw-on tops for Used Motor 573 <br />Oil Collection and up to five (5) six (6) mil plastic zip-close type bags for Used 574 <br />Motor Oil Filter Collection to SFD Customers, upon Customer’s request, within 575 <br />five (5) Business Days of such request, at no additional cost to Customer. 576 <br />Information in English and Spanish, regarding the Used Motor Oil and Used 577 <br />Motor Oil Filter Collection program and instructions for the use and set out of 578 <br />these materials shall be provided with the Used Motor Oil jugs and Used Motor 579 <br />Oil Filter bags. Diversion of Used Motor Oil shall be calculated with a conversion 580 <br />factor of one (1) gallon of Used Motor Oil equaling seven (7) pounds. 581 <br />4. Household Batteries and Cell Phones. Contractor shall Collect from SFD 582 <br />Premises Household Batteries and Cell Phones placed on top of the Recyclable 583 <br />Materials Cart in Contractor-provided or Customer-provided clear zip-close or 584 <br />tie-close plastic bags clearly marked “Used Batteries and Cell Phones.” 585 <br />Contractor shall empty the bag at the point of Collection and leave it to be reused 586 <br />by the Customer by placing it inside the Cart handle. Customers will be notified 587 <br />to place all Household Batteries in a clear zip-close plastic bag; tape the contacts 588 <br />of button cell batteries; and wrap Cell Phones in paper (for protection) prior to 589 <br />placing in the plastic bag. While Customers will be encouraged to follow the 590 <br />participation parameters, Contractor shall be required to Collect if Customers do 591 <br />not follow these instructions. 592 <br />5. Collection Day. Contractor shall Collect Targeted Recyclable Materials, Used 593 <br />Motor Oil, Used Motor Oil Filters, Household Batteries, and Cell Phones from 594 <br />SFD on the same day that Solid Waste Collection is provided. 595 <br />C. Multi-Family Residential Premises 596 <br />1. General. Multi-Family Dwelling Customers that subscribe to Solid Waste 597 <br />Collection service shall be entitled to Single-Stream Targeted Recyclable 598 <br />Materials Collection at no additional charge, and Contractor shall provide the 599 <br />level of service required by Multi-Family Dwelling Customers requesting 600 <br />Recyclable Materials Collection services. Contractor shall provide each Multi-601 <br />Family Dwelling Customer with Containers for Single-Stream Targeted 602 <br />Recyclable Materials Collection. At a minimum, Contractor shall provide twenty 603 <br />(20) gallons per week of Container capacity for Single-Stream Targeted 604 <br />Recyclable Materials Collection for every Multi-Family Dwelling at the Premises. 605 <br />Contractor shall provide each Customer with Carts or Bins as specified in 606 <br />Attachment D, as requested by the Customer. 607 <br />Contractor shall Collect Single-Stream Targeted Recyclable Materials 608 <br />Generated at Multi-Family Residential Complexes at least once per week or 609 <br />more frequently, up to six (6) times per week, as scheduled by the Customer 610 <br />provided that the Generator has Source Separated the Targeted Recyclable 611 <br />Materials from Solid Waste and placed the materials in the appropriate 612 <br />Contractor-provided Container. Contractor shall Collect Single-Steam Targeted 613 <br />Recyclable Materials at the designated location agreed upon by Contractor and 614 <br />Multi-Family Dwelling Customer. The designated Collection location, if disputed 615 <br />by Customer or Contractor, shall be determined by the Agency. Carts and Bins 616 <br />may be shared by the Occupants of the Multi-Family Residential Complexes. 617 <br />6.2.B. - Page 30
