The level of 664 <br />service Contractor shall provide includes: Single-Stream Targeted Recyclable 665 <br />Materials Collection or Source Separated Collection of cardboard, mixed paper, 666 <br />food and recyclable beverage containers, or other Targeted Recyclable Materials 667 <br />in a manner that best suits the needs of the Commercial Customer. 668 <br />Contractor shall Collect Single-Steam Targeted Recyclable Materials or other 669 <br />Source Separated Recyclable Materials Generated at Commercial Premises at 670 <br />least once per week or more frequently, up to seven (7) times per week, as 671 <br />scheduled by the Customer provided that the Generator has Source Separated 672 <br />the Targeted Recyclable Materials from Solid Waste and placed the materials in 673 <br />the appropriate Contractor-provided Container. Contractor shall Collect Targeted 674 <br />Recyclable Materials at the designated location agreed upon by Contractor and 675 <br />Customer. The designated Collection location, if disputed by Customer or 676 <br />Contractor, shall be determined by the Agency. 677 <br />2. Service Methods. Contractor shall allow Commercial Customers to select a 678 <br />Collection service method that best suits the needs of its Premises. Specifically, 679 <br />the Contractor shall offer the following choices to Commercial Customers: 680 <br />a. Cart service. Contractor shall allow Commercial Customers to use Carts for 681 <br />Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection. 682 <br />b. Bin service. Contractor shall allow Commercial Customers to use Bins for 683 <br />Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection. 684 <br />c. Shared Cart or Bin service. Contractor shall allow Commercial Customers 685 <br />to use Carts or Bins for Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection that are 686 <br />shared by the Occupants of two (2) or more Commercial Premises. In such 687 <br />case, Contractor shall provide one (1) or more Carts or Bins to such Premises 688 <br />as requested by Customer(s). 689 <br />d. Drop Boxes and Compactors. Contractor shall allow Commercial Customers 690 <br />to use Drop Boxes or Compactors for Targeted Recyclable Materials. 691 <br />Contractor shall allow Customers to purchase or lease Compactors through 692 <br />an outside vendor. Regular maintenance of Compactors shall be required 693 <br />by Customer (or outside vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the 694 <br />Compactors in good working order and functioning at high compaction levels. 695 <br />3. Container Service Requirements. Container service requirements described for 696 <br />Multi-Family Solid Waste Collection in Sections 5.02.B.3 through 5.02.B.7 are 697 <br />applicable for Collection of Targeted Recyclable Materials from Commercial 698 <br />Premises. 699 <br />E. Agency Facilities 700 <br />1. General. Agency Facilities that subscribe to Solid Waste Collection service shall 701 <br />be entitled to Collection of Targeted Recyclable Materials, and Contractor shall 702 <br />provide the level of service required by Agency Facilities requesting Targeted 703 <br />Recyclable Materials Collection services and shall not bill Agency for such 704 <br />services. The level of service Contractor shall provide includes: Single-Stream 705 <br />Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection or Source Separated Collection of 706 <br />cardboard, mixed paper, food and recyclable beverage containers, or other 707 <br />6.2.B. - Page 32
