Other information required by law. 1066 <br />Contractor shall provide the Collection services required by this Section for the Agency-1067 <br />sponsored Venues and Community Events listed on Attachment C, at no charge to the 1068 <br />Agency or the Community Event organizer. A preliminary list of Agency-sponsored 1069 <br />Venues and Community Events is provided in Attachment C. Agency may add additional 1070 <br />events to those listed in Attachment C or modify this list if events change during the Term 1071 <br />and shall make such modifications as part of the Three-Year Public Education Plan (in 1072 <br />accordance with Section 7.03.B). If the number of events listed in Attachment C increases 1073 <br />during the Term above the number on the preliminary list on Attachment C, Contractor 1074 <br />shall be entitled to receive compensation for the number of additional events provided 1075 <br />service each Rate Year based on the Charges for additional events specified in 1076 <br />Attachment Q. For other Venues and Community Events, Contractor may bill the Venue 1077 <br />or Community Event organizer at the Agency-approved Charges for comparable On-Call 1078 <br />Commercial Solid Waste and Organic Materials Collection Service. Recyclable Materials 1079 <br />Collection service shall be provided at no additional cost to Community Events that 1080 <br />subscribe to Solid Waste or Organic Materials Collection service. 1081 <br />5.09 ABANDONED WASTE CLEANUP COLLECTION SERVICE 1082 <br />A. General. Contractor shall provide abandoned waste cleanup Collection service to 1083 <br />Agency as provided herein. Contractor shall schedule up to a maximum of thirty (30) 1084 <br />abandoned waste Collection events per service day for the SBWMA Service Area. 1085 <br />Contractor shall make every effort to collect abandoned waste within one (1) Business 1086 <br />Day of being notified by Agency, SBWMA, Customer, or Contractor’s vehicle drivers 1087 <br />and route supervisors of the occurrence of abandoned waste or illegal dumping. Upon 1088 <br />reaching the maximum thirty (30) events, Collection of abandoned waste event shall 1089 <br />be scheduled and performed by Contractor on the next available service day. This 1090 <br />service shall require Contractor to Collect abandoned or illegally dumped Solid 1091 <br />Waste, Recyclable Materials, and Organic Materials. This service does not include 1092 <br />Collection of litter or litter abatement activities. 1093 <br /> Contractor shall notify the SBWMA and Agency when the daily average number of 1094 <br />events reaches twenty-five (25) events, where the daily average is calculated on a 1095 <br />weekly basis. When this threshold occurs, Parties shall meet and confer to agree on 1096 <br />a strategy for handling the volume of abandoned waste Collection events. 1097 <br />B. Materials to be Collected. Contractor shall only be required to Collect abandoned 1098 <br />waste materials of the types that Contractor is required to Collect under the On-Call 1099 <br />Bulky Item Collection program, as specified in Section 5.05.D. Abandoned waste 1100 <br />shall only be Collected by Contractor in public right of ways, and Contractor shall not 1101 <br />be responsible for any Collection of abandoned waste materials that are on private 1102 <br />properties or easements where ownership of properties are in question or shared. 1103 <br />C. Collection Protocols. For abandoned Recyclable Materials, Organic Materials, and 1104 <br />Solid Waste, Contractor shall dispatch its regular route drivers to provide Collection 1105 <br />service. For Bulky Items, Contractor shall dispatch a Collection vehicle capable of 1106 <br />Collecting the Bulky Items to provide the Collection service. For other items including, 1107 <br />but not limited to, Hazardous Waste, Household Hazardous Waste, and Sharps, 1108 <br />Contractor shall promptly notify Agency. 1109 <br />6.2.B. - Page 41
