Contractor shall coordinate 1199 <br />with re-use vendor(s) to have a representative present at the drop-off event to accept 1200 <br />donated clothes or other reusable items. Disposal of materials shall be the 1201 <br />Contractor’s last option. 1202 <br />F. Handling Major Appliances. Major Appliances shall be reused, Recycled, or Disposed 1203 <br />by Contractor in accordance with requirements of Applicable Law. Any changes to 1204 <br />such regulations made after January 1, 2011 shall be addressed as though they are 1205 <br />a Change in Law in accordance with Section 11.05. 1206 <br />G. Scheduling Community Drop-Off Events. Upon request from Agency, Contractor 1207 <br />shall promote, manage, staff, and operate community drop-off events described in 1208 <br />this Section. If Agency exercises such right, it shall provide written notice to 1209 <br />Contractor at least three (3) months before the first day of the requested drop-off 1210 <br />event. Agency shall compensate Contractor for such service based on Contractor’s 1211 <br />Charge specified in Attachment Q. 1212 <br />H. Confidential Document Destruction Service. If requested by Agency, Contractor shall 1213 <br />provide confidential document destruction service at the drop off event(s). Contractor 1214 <br />shall provide adequate equipment and staffing necessary for the event and shall 1215 <br />ensure full destruction of confidential documents and other materials delivered by 1216 <br />Customers at the site of the event. This service shall be provided by Contractor at 1217 <br />no additional cost to Customers and shall not bill Agency for such services. 1218 <br />5.14 MIXED USE BUILDINGS 1219 <br />A. General. Contractor shall provide Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and 1220 <br />Organic Materials Collection services to Mixed Use Building Customers in 1221 <br />accordance with the requirements for provision of these services to Commercial 1222 <br />Customers pursuant to Sections 5.02.C, 5.03.D, and 5.04.C. Contractor shall work 1223 <br />cooperatively with the Owner or property manager of the Mixed Use Building to agree 1224 <br />on the type and size of Containers to be provided and whether or not the Commercial 1225 <br />and Residential portions of the Mixed Use Building will share service or have 1226 <br />designated Containers for Collection. 1227 <br />B. Service Capacity. For the Residential Premises of the Mixed Use Buildings, 1228 <br />Contractor shall provide no less than ninety-six (96) gallons per week of Solid Waste 1229 <br />Container capacity for every five (5) Residential dwelling units. At a minimum, 1230 <br />Contractor shall provide twenty (20) gallons per week of Container capacity for 1231 <br />Single-Stream Targeted Recyclable Materials Collection for every Residential 1232 <br />dwelling at the Mixed Use Building. 1233 <br />C. Recycling Tote Bags. Contractor shall provide the Residential Premises units of the 1234 <br />Mixed Use Building with Recycling Tote Bags in accordance with the Multi-Family 1235 <br />Recycling Tote Bags requirements pursuant to Section 5.03.C.2. 1236 <br />D. Household Battery and Cell Phone Collection. Contractor shall provide the 1237 <br />Residential Premises of the Mixed Use Building with Household Battery and Cell 1238 <br />Phone Collection in accordance with the Multi-Family Household Battery and Cell 1239 <br />Phone Collection service requirements pursuant to Section 5.03.C.3. 1240 <br />E. Bulky Item Collection. Contractor shall provide the Residential Premises of the 1241 <br />Mixed Use Building with two (2) annual On-Call Bulky Item Collection Service events 1242 <br />6.2.B. - Page 44
