Bags must be provided to Customer within 1814 <br />five (5) Business Days of Customer request. 1815 <br />10. Staff a booth at local public events and distribute promotional and educational 1816 <br />materials. 1817 <br />11. Coordinate with SBWMA regarding SBWMA student tours at Shoreway 1818 <br />Environmental Center; make classroom presentations upon request; provide 1819 <br />school activities for students about the 4Rs. 1820 <br />12. Conduct presentations at community meetings, service clubs, senior centers, 1821 <br />and neighborhood associations. 1822 <br />13. Promote recycling and organics Collection programs on the sides of Collection 1823 <br />and route supervisors’ vehicles. These advertising campaigns must be approved 1824 <br />in advance by Agency and SBWMA. 1825 <br />14. Each Rate Year insert with its Bills, up to twelve (12) Solid W aste Bill inserts 1826 <br />produced by SBWMA or Agency. A total of nine (9) Bill inserts are specified in 1827 <br />subsection D above. 1828 <br />15. If Agency has specified a post card Bill format, the notices described as "Bill 1829 <br />inserts" shall be separately mailed by Contractor. In addition, if Bills (in whatever 1830 <br />format) are mailed at intervals that do not accommodate the timely distribution of 1831 <br />the specified notices, notices shall be separately mailed as necessary by 1832 <br />Contractor. Agency shall reimburse Contractor for any postage fees paid by 1833 <br />Contractor to conduct such separate mailings. 1834 <br />16. Contractor’s outreach and education material shall place a strong emphasis on 1835 <br />Recycling and reuse, encouraging Customers to take advantage of donation 1836 <br />opportunities offered by local non-profit organizations such as the Society of St. 1837 <br />Vincent de Paul, Goodwill Industries, and the Salvation Army. In addition, 1838 <br />Contractor shall promote other resources for reuse, such as the Freecycle 1839 <br />NetworkTM, an online resource for the free and local exchange of goods, the 1840 <br />Resource Area for Teachers (RAFT), local schools, and other community 1841 <br />organizations that are in need of reusable goods. 1842 <br />17. Upon request by Agency, Contractor shall promote its services to Customers 1843 <br />using Agency’s email distribution list or an email distribution list authorized by 1844 <br />Agency. 1845 <br />18. As appropriate, Contractor shall request SBWMA or Agency to issue press 1846 <br />releases related to programs, and, upon request, provide draft content for such 1847 <br />press releases. 1848 <br />F. Meeting Requirements 1850 <br />Upon request from Agency or SBWMA, the general manager or his/her designee is 1851 <br />required to meet quarterly, and more frequently if necessary, with Agency and/or 1852 <br />SBWMA staff to review public education and promotion activities. In addition, the 1853 <br />general manager or his/her designee shall be required to represent Contractor at all 1854 <br />monthly SBWMA Board of Director meetings. 1855 <br />H.
