Routes over which Contractor’s vehicles travel to affect the 2246 <br />Collection and transport of Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and Organic 2247 <br />Materials shall be selected to minimize damage to Agency and private streets, and 2248 <br />minimize inconvenience and disturbance to the public. The route schedules and 2249 <br />routing maps shall be subject to the approval of Agency prior to Commencement of 2250 <br />services. Contractor shall use due care to obey all traffic laws and prevent materials 2251 <br />being transported from being spilled or scattered during transport. 2252 <br />Contractor shall be prepared to review its operations plan outlining the Collection 2253 <br />routes, intervals of Collection and Collection times for all materials Collected under 2254 <br />this Agreement with the Agency or its representatives at least annually. More 2255 <br />frequent reviews may be required if operations are not satisfactory based on 2256 <br />documented observations or reports or Complaints. If the plan is determined to 2257 <br />inadequately address the unsatisfactory performance as documented by 2258 <br />observations and Complaints, the Agency may direct Contractor to revise the plan 2259 <br />incorporating any changes into a revised plan and review said revised plan with the 2260 <br />Agency within thirty (30) Days of the initial meeting with the Agency. 2261 <br />C. Contingency Plan. Contractor shall submit to Agency ninety (90) Days prior to 2262 <br />Commencement Date, a written contingency plan demonstrating Contractor's 2263 <br />arrangements to provide vehicles and personnel and to maintain uninterrupted 2264 <br />service during breakdowns, and in case of natural disaster or other emergency, 2265 <br />including the events described in Section 14.09. 2266 <br />8.02 COLLECTION STANDARDS 2267 <br />A. Reserved 2268 <br />B. Servicing Containers and Missed Pick-Ups 2269 <br />1. General. Contractor shall Collect the contents and return each Container to the 2270 <br />location where the Occupant properly placed the Container for Collection. 2271 <br />Contractor shall place the Containers upright with lids properly closed and 2272 <br />secured. 2273 <br />Contractor shall use due care when handling Containers. Contractor shall not 2274 <br />throw, roughly handle, damage, or break Containers. 2275 <br />Upon Customer request, Contractor shall provide special services including: 2276 <br />unlocking and locking Containers; accessing locked Container enclosures (e.g., 2277 <br />with a key or combination lock); providing Container Relocation Service; and, 2278 <br />providing Long Distance Service. Contractor shall provide these services upon 2279 <br />request from Customer and Agency shall bill Customer at Agency-approved 2280 <br />Charges specified in Attachment Q. Section 5.02 provides additional information 2281 <br />on general Container service requirements, Long Distance Service, and 2282 <br />Container Relocation Service. 2283 <br />2. Missed Pick-Ups. When notified of a missed pick-up, Contractor shall Collect the 2284 <br />Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, or Organic Materials on the day the 2285 <br />notice is received, if possible, and in all cases shall Collect the missed pick-up 2286 <br />by 6:00 p.m. of the next Business Day following receipt of the missed pick-up 2287 <br />notification. 2288 <br />6.2.B. - Page 69
