LSA ASSOCIATES, INC. <br />APRIL 2018 <br />1548 MAPLE STREET PROJECT <br />MITIGATION MONITORING AND REPORTING PROGRAM <br /> <br /> <br />ATTY/RESO.0035/CC RESO CERTIFYING FINAL EIR – 1548 MAPLE <br />REV: 04-30-18 PR <br />Page 39 of 49 <br />Table 1: Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program <br />Impact Mitigation Measures <br />Timeframe for <br />Implementation <br />Responsibility for <br />Implementation <br />Oversight of <br />Implementation <br />NOI-2: Noise from construction <br />activities would result in a <br />substantial temporary or <br />periodic increase in ambient <br />noise levels in the project <br />vicinity above levels existing <br />without the project. <br />NOI-2: The project contractor shall implement the <br />following measures during construction of the proposed <br />project: <br />• Equip all construction equipment, fixed or mobile, with <br />properly operating and maintained mufflers consistent <br />with manufacturers' standards. <br />• Place all stationary construction equipment so that <br />emitted noise is directed away from sensitive receptors <br />nearest the active project site. <br />• Locate equipment staging in areas that would create the <br />greatest possible distance between construction-related <br />noise sources and noise-sensitive receptors nearest the <br />active project site during all project construction. <br />• Ensure that all general construction related activities are <br />restricted to between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 <br />p.m. on weekdays. No construction shall be permitted <br />on weekends or holidays. <br />• Post a sign at all entrances to the work site prior to <br />commencement of the work for the purpose of <br />informing all contractors and subcontractors and all <br />other persons at the property of the basic limitations <br />upon noise and construction activities provided in the <br />noise ordinance. <br />• Designate a "disturbance coordinator" at the City of <br />Redwood City who would be responsible for responding <br />to any local complaints about construction noise.
