R 1 It makes no sense tome at all to build, especially densely, in a flood plain that will probably be
underwater in the next 50 years.
+3 1: RWC must evaluate impact of recent projects before considering another one that leads to
housing & traffic bottlenecks.
+3 1 enough is enough. Let's first see how all the construction currently underway will impact Redwood
City before we add 5000+ workers/commuters
+3 1 we have already built a lot of buildings that should have helped the Redwood City budget and
infrastructure with no results. We don't need another huge building with a lot more people causing
even more traffic problems
+3 2, the primary "community benefit" for any project should be the project itself. If the last 70 years
have shown us anything it's that places built for cars are awful. This is such a place: a giant office park,
far from transit, surrounded by an ocean of (free) parking. If we want the waterfront to be a wonderful
place to be in the future, this is the worst possible idea.
+3 1 Absolutely strongly oppose FILLING IN OUR BAY for ANY reason, especially for this huge, city -sized
development. Cargill has already seen how RC ppl oppose this, but they are trying to twist the law and
buy their way in anyway, and thus far the council has not stopped them. No to Harbor View!!!!! Please
join Redwood City Neighbors United (rcnu.org) to stop this ecological disaster.
Oops, not Cargill, but another equally awful developer. This is for the Malibu site, so still NO. Cargill
wants to fill in the bay for their project. If Harbor View gets passed, Cargill will argue that they have to fill
in the bay for more housing for the 2000 workers in Harbor View's office towers. No to both. Join
rcnu.org!
+3 1 No. No! and what part of "NO" do you not understand? A development of that size, in that location,
is insane.
+3 1 absolutely opposed.
+3 1. Bad idea to build in the bay. No development east of 101. Developer cynically offers money to non-
profits thinking RWC residents can be bribed. We cannot.
+3 1. No, No and No! I don't appreciate the manipulative PR the developer is foisting upon Redwood
City. Are they CRAZY to suggest this plan for Redwood City and IN THAT LOCATION?!Self-serving with no
concern for how this will be damaging to Redwood City's already present gridlock. This will only
increase and make worst the housing deficit: where will those thousands of office workers live? And
from where will they commute, since they will most certainly have to do that.) TOTALLY agree with the
