R 1 !!!!!! NOM!! Not as proposed!!!Adamantly NO!!!!!
+2 1. We already have too much traffic.
+z 1 If we are going to add more office space then we need to add more housing. And in addition to
housing we need more hospitals, schools, fire, and government services to support the influx to our
community.
+z 1 - we're overcrowded already!!!
+2 1 we need more housing and more community investment from the businesses that are changing
the social and physical landscape of our community. We most certainly do not need more traffic
congestion. Please think about the infrastructure we would need to support such a development, and
please prioritize attending to the housing needs of current working and middle class community
members, not about more of the same kinds of developments that have been pushing all but the super
rich away from RWC.
+z 2: where will the necessary water come from? What will be done regarding the already massive
congestion at 101 and Woodside Rd? How much housing will be reserved for low income? If those
questions cannot be satisfactorily answered then No!
+i 2 shouldn't move forward without a comprehensive and realistic transportation plan
+1 1 infrastructure should be main focus, then new development
+1 1 - I strongly oppose the Harbor View project. Traffic is already horrendous in Redwood City. At this
point Redwood City has just gotten too money hungry! Stanford's building a huge complex that will
hold 5,000 jobs, apartments are going up all around Redwood City, Facebook has a huge building in
downtown. Redwood City. Next you have more cars coming into RWC, but they're reducing four lane
streets to two lanes to accommodate bike lanes, which I don't see being used that much. As it is right
now, I have difficulty getting out of my driveway in the morning with all the traffic and run into heavy
traffic going down small streets after work, trying to get home! So you're asking if we want to approve
this project! No!!@
+1 1. Anything that makes the affordable housing crisis worse is a nonstarter.
+1 1, why more offices? How about affordable housing? The office spaces in Pacific Shores are still
empty ...fill those up first.
2, I'm opposed because nothing is ever planned out throughly and we have a serious traffic issue in
this particular area. Way too much overbuilding in a small condensed area.
