AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City of Redwood City acquire said right of way and easement in and upon said real property, for said public improvement, by an action in eminent domain in accordance with the provisions of the Charter of the City of Redwood City, the provisions of Article I, Section 14, of the Constitution of the State of California, and the provisions of the Code of Civil Procedure of the State of California relating to eminent domain, said real property being all that real property situate in the City of Redwood City, County of San Mateo „ State of California,. more particularly described as follows: Parcel No. 1. An easement five feet in width for the purpose of installing and maintaining public storm drainage faci- lities, said easement being described as follows: A 5.00 foot wide easement adjacent to and westerly of the easterly line of Lot 11, Block 1, as said lot and block are shown on that map entitled "Friendly Acres Subdivision No. 2," recorded January 18, 1937, in the office of the Recorder of San Mateo County, California, in Book 21 of Maps at pages 32, 33 and 34, said ease- ment to be for the purpose of installing and maintain- ing public storm drainage facilities. AND, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City Attorney of the City of Redwood City be, and he is hereby directed, authorized and empowered: To institute, maintain and prosecute, in the name of the City of Redwood City, an action in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of San Mateo, for the condemnation of the right of way and easements in and upon the real property hereinabove described, for said public im- provement, and to take all steps necessary for said condemnation in the name of the City of Redwood City. -2-
