5 RWC needs more housing <br />In opposition: <br />+a 1The entire building should be made affordable. <br />+a 1. There is always the promise of affordable housing, but some developers opt to pay the fine <br />rather than provide the housing. The city coffers increase and <br />+4 1. TOO MUCH BUILDING GOING ON IN DOWNTOWN. STOP BUILDING HUGE BUILDINGS! <br />+3 1- no no no, we have too many apartments and condos going up in redwood city, San Carlos, <br />Belmont, Menlo park etc. And they all promised low income or affordable which they are really not <br />for the "middle class" that is being suffocated with rising costs. Even if this one apartment building <br />offers anything affordable etc our infrastructure: roads, water, sewage, traffic etc cannot support <br />another building. No no no more apartments and condos <br />+2 2 - I'm concerned that environmental assessment wasn't adequate. <br />+2 1 too crowded <br />+2 1. I'm all for better housing but this is absurd. The location is not desirable for new construction <br />due to the environmental and neighborhood impact. Find somewhere else to build. Additionally, 20 <br />"affordable" units out of 125 units in a luxury apartment complex is not sufficient. There are better <br />solutions for both housing, construction, and environment. For example, why not fix up the burned <br />out apartment building on woodside first! It's wasted land! <br />+z 1 oppose. No more apartments. Stop <br />+2 1 strongly oppose. I will work to elect new Council members (keeping Borgens and Bain) who are <br />not working with/for developers. And i will NEVER vote Masur for anything. <br />+2 1, but do our opinions even matter? <br />+1 1 we don't just need housing we need affordable housing. 19 units is not enough. <br />
