+1 1 City needs to work on the roads first. Example: create some one way roads before putting more
cars on roads. Everyone in this new apartment will not be working & walking on Main Street. They will
use cars for big shopping etc. Get real Redwood City.
+1 1. We do not need more housing and 19 units of affordable housing is not enough considering how
many families are displaced, including educators that work in this community.
+t 1 RC has enough buildings with LESS parking and the rental/owner money fees are way to high!!IF
and only IF this was built for our lower income RCResidents then I would probably approve, BUT til
then it's no way.
Strongly oppose. Redwood city is too crowded already. Why not make the new apartment buildings
affordable rather than the ridiculous prices being asked presently. There needs to be a ceiling on
rents. #1
1. Because is Not enough affordable housing units.. yes it is very crowded but from people who work
in technology making it harder to stay for us who grew up
1. 1 agree with it being too crowded on top of only 19 affordable? That nothing compared to the
number of cables being evicted or forced to move up other cities does to the raise in rent these new
apartments are causing.
1, No more building! Enough is enough! More apartments=more traffic! So much traffic already, anc
not enough parking. RWC... add more parking downtown, bring back lost traffic lanes that were
converted bike lanes. Most bicyclists don't even use the bike lanes! I've had to follow them in traffic
lanes, and they've illegally cut in front of moving cars! What's RWC going to do about bicyclists not
abiding the rules of the road?
1 Too many large buildings. More apartments more business more totally unaffordable rental units!!
1 We have provided enough housing for the peninsula
1 - Need more affordable housing and needs a thorough environmental report
1 ..... strongly oppose
1 Strongly oppose. Let's stop all the building for a while until the full impact of all the recent
development can be collected, analyzed, and reviewed. No one knows the full effect of all these
changes. It feels like we are driving around a blind curve with our foot pressed on the gas. What is the
rush?
