Meetings: 2 project coordination meetings, remotely, via conference call. <br />Phase III. - Design Development Phase: <br />Following approval by Client of the Schematic Design Documents, Consultant will prepare Landscape <br />Design Development Documents for the Project for review and approval by Client. The Design <br />Development Documents will describe in detail proposed locations and the extent of all landscape design <br />elements (hardscape and softscape) and plant materials as shown in the approved Landscape Plan <br />included in the Schematic Design Documents. Landscape work relating to water management, structural <br />design, safety design, and lighting will be coordinated with the Client and other members of the consultant <br />team. An irrigation system or modification to existing irrigation system may be recommended, but the <br />design of such a system is not part of the Consultant's Basic Services under this Letter Agreement. <br />The scope of work for this stage will include: <br />• Refine schematic design including site elements, grading, planting and site furnishings. <br />• Coordinate site development with all other consultants as required. <br />• Preliminary selection of site materials, lighting fixtures, products and equipment. <br />• Propose conceptual irrigation system. <br />• Review/comment site drainage and plant under drainage. <br />• Prepare outline specifications. <br />• Prepare cost estimate in coordination with Client and Design Team. <br />• Participate in value engineering if necessary. <br />• Preparation of presentation of design development scheme, including presentation drawings and <br />renderings, to client. <br />Deliverables will include the following: <br />A. Landscape Layout and Materials Plan <br />B. Elevations, Sections and Details (as required) <br />C. Conceptual Grading <br />D. Conceptual Paving Layouts <br />E. Planting Plan, Schedules & Details <br />F. Material Samples <br />G. Outline Specifications for landscaping <br />H. Submission of 50% Design Development Documents for review and comment <br />1. Revisions based on 50% review period contributing towards 100% Design Development <br />Documents <br />J. One revision of documents based on agencies' comments <br />K. Submission of 100% Design Development Documents <br />Schedule: 7 weeks <br />Meetings: 1 project presentation in Redwood City. <br />3 coordination meetings, remotely, via conference call. <br />Phase IV. — Construction Document Phase <br />The Consultant and Landscape Architect of Records shall prepare technical details for the hardscape and <br />planting design of the project to complete sign and seal the Construction Documents. The technical <br />details will set forth the requirements for the resolution of the work for which the Consultant is <br />responsible. The Consultant will assist in the coordination of the design team as well as projects <br />engineering disciplines including civil engineer, structural engineer, MEP engineer. <br />The scope of work for this stage will include: <br />• Complete details required for the construction of the landscape softscape and hardscape, <br />including pavement, site elements (raised/recessed planters, edgings), grading, planting and site <br />furnishings. <br />• Final selection of materials, products and equipment (including lighting fixtures). <br />• Review/Comment site drainage and plant under drainage with Civil Engineer. <br />REV: 04-05-18 JS <br />Page 11 of 13 <br />ATTY/AGR.2018.076/Balmori Associates <br />
