<br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />REDWOOD CfTY DOWNTOWN PRECISE PLAN <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Cumulative With Project (Preferred Alternative) - This year 2025 cumulative <br />analysis will included pending projects in the immediate project area and that of the <br />preferred project alternative. <br /> <br />Task 7 Traffic Impacts and Mitigation Measures <br /> <br />Project impacts will be determined according to the criteria established by Redwood City and the San <br />Mateo City/County Association of Governments (Ç/CAG). Study intersections will be evaluated using <br />the TRAFFIX software package. City and County standards, of significance will be applied to a <br />comparison of the No Project and Project scenarios. Fréeway segments and rmaps will be analyzed <br />based on the methodologies set forth in the Highway Capacity Manual. <br /> <br />Mitigation measures could include such items as additional intersection geometry, traffic control <br />modifications, transit improvements, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, neighborhood traffic control, <br />TOM measures, etc. <br /> <br />Task 8 <br /> <br />Transit Evaluation <br /> <br />The existing transit system will be reviewed and evaluated to determine its effectiveness in serving <br />the proposed project. This analysis will include incorporating enhanced bus service within the <br />project study area and determining the impact of existing and proposed Sam Trans and CaltrainlHSR <br />service. A written and graphical description of the existing and planned transit services located near <br />the project will be developed. This description will include the following: <br /> <br />- Transit route descriptions and maps <br /> <br />- Transit station/stop locations <br /> <br />- Transit schedule and headway information <br /> <br />Task 9 Non-Motorized Travel Evaluation <br /> <br />The bicycle and pedestrian facilities. both existing and proposed, will be described for the study area. <br />Included in this description will be official bicycle and pedestrian paths and lanes, sidewalks, and <br />any informal routes established by uses. Each of the routes will be characterized in terms of safety, <br />comfort, and attractiveness. The project's connectivity to surrounding uses, such as major <br />employment centers. commerciallretail facilities, and transit systems will be discussed and evaluated <br /> <br />Task 10 Draft Report <br /> <br />KORVE will prepare the administrative draft traffic report and submit it to the EIR consultant and the <br />City for initial review. After initial review the draft traffic report will be submitted to the City for review <br />and comment. Upon receipt of comments the final report will be prepared. <br /> <br />Task 11 Final Report <br /> <br />KORVE will address comments on the traffic analysis for inclusion in the final traffic report.
