Proposal to Update the City of Redwood City Emergency Operation.~ Plan . Interviews to identify important missions/functions requiring emergency response, Identification of undesirable consequences that could affect City missions/functions, Interviews and reviews to detennine the assets that need to be protected to minimize the impacts ofthe undesirable events/consequences, Interviews and reviews to detennine the malevolent acts that could reasonably cause these events/consequences, Identification of Emergency Operations Center and Alternate location(s) or potential location(s). . . . . Task 2 - Emergency Planning Process. Task 20. Planning Partnerships. The planning process will include coordination with those parties who will implement operations to mitigate emergency situations. We will coordinate with the following: a. Redwood City Fire Department b. Redwood City Police Department c. San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services d. San Mateo County Office of Public Health e. Port of Redwood City f. Critical City Management & Departments g. Other entities as deemed necessary by the Project Director Task lb. General Emergency Operations Policies, Procedures, Actions, Documents. We will provide a short synopsis of the overall emergency management structure, how other emergency response, contingency, and risk management plans fit into the EOP for local, state and national emergencies, and applicable polices, procedures, actions plans, and cite reference documents. Task 2c. Scenarios. We will identify specific emergency action steps required for response, recovery, and remediation for Man-Made and lor Technological Emergencies and Natural Disasters using the San Mateo County EOP as a template.
