190 Curbside <br />191 "Curbside" means the location for Collection, where Collection Containers or loose materials are <br />192 placed on the street or alley against the face of the curb, or, where no curb exists, placed not <br />193 more than five (5) feet from the outside edge of the street or alley. <br />194 Customer <br />195 "Customer means the Person to whom Contractor (or Agency if Agency bills directly) submits <br />196 billing invoices for Collection services provided to a Premises. The Customer may be the <br />197 Occupant or Owner of the Premises provided that the Owner of the Premises shall be <br />198 responsible for payment of Collection services if an Occupant of the Premises fails to make <br />199 such payment. <br />200 Day <br />201 "Day" means calendar day unless otherwise specified. <br />202 Designated Transfer and Processing Facility <br />203 "Designated Transfer and Processing Facility" means the Shoreway Recycling and Disposal <br />204 Center or "SRDC" at 225 and 333 Shoreway Road, San Carlos, California, which is owned by <br />205 SBWMA. <br />206 Designated Waste <br />207 "Designated Waste" means non -Hazardous Waste which may pose special Disposal problems <br />208 because of its potential to contaminate the environment and which may be disposed of only in <br />209 Class II Disposal Sites or Class III Disposal Sites pursuant to a variance issued by the California <br />210 Department of Health Services. Designated Waste consists of those substances classified as <br />211 Designated Waste in California Code of Regulations Title 23, Section 2522. <br />212 Discarded Material <br />213 "Discarded Material" means Solid Waste, Targeted Recyclable Materials, and Organic Materials <br />214 placed by a Generator in a Container and/or at a location that is designated for Collection <br />215 pursuant to the Agency's Municipal Code. Discarded Material shall become the property of <br />216 Contractor pursuant to California Public Resources Code Section 41950 until delivery to the <br />217 Designated Transfer and Processing Facility. <br />218 Disposal <br />219 "Disposal" means the ultimate disposition of Solid Waste Collected at a Disposal Site. <br />220 Designated Disposal Site <br />221 "Designated Disposal Site" means the facility or facilities utilized for the landfill Disposal of Solid <br />222 Waste Collected under the terms of this Agreement. <br />223 Drop Box <br />224 "Drop Box" means an open -top Container with a typical capacity of twenty (20) to forty (40) <br />225 cubic yards that is serviced by a Drop Box or roll -off Collection vehicle. Drop boxes that contain <br />226 putrescible solid waste require a lid.
