392 If the Container does not have wheels, or is greater than three (3) cubic yards <br />393 in capacity, or is a Compactor, the standard Rate includes Collection from a <br />394 location accessible by Contractor's vehicle (regardless of the distance from the <br />395 curb or roadway), provided that access to the Container is paved and the slope <br />396 is less than seven percent (7%). A slope shall be deemed to be seven percent <br />397 (7%) or more if the slope measures 7% or more using a slope measurement <br />398 device.For each Container that does not meet the above accessibility <br />399 requirements, Contractor shall offer Long Distance Service or Container <br />400 Relocation Service as described below for Containers that are eligible for such <br />401 service. If the Container is not eligible for such service, or the Customer notifies <br />402 Contractor that it does not want such service, then Contractor shall not be <br />403 required to Collect the Container unless it meets the above accessibility <br />404 requirements. <br />405 4. Lonq Distance Service. For wheeled Containers that are more than fifty (50) <br />406 feet from the curb or edge of roadway (using the measurement method <br />407 described above), Contractor shall provide Long Distance Service. Long <br />408 Distance Service is an additional service Contractor shall provide that involves <br />409 Contractor's route personnel manually pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving <br />410 the Container more than fifty (50) feet to a serviceable location and returning <br />411 the Container to its storage location after Collection. The Long Distance <br />412 Service is a regularly scheduled service that is performed each day the <br />413 Contractor provides Collection service for the Container. Agency shall charge <br />414 the Customer for Long Distance Service at Agency -approved Charge specified <br />415 in Attachment Q. <br />416 <br />5. Container Relocation Service. If a Container is located in an area that is not <br />417 <br />serviceable by a regular Collection vehicle, Contractor shall provide Container <br />418 <br />Relocation Services. Agency shall charge the Customer for Container <br />419 <br />Relocation Service at Agency -approved Charge specified in Attachment Q. <br />420 <br />Conditions in which Container Relocation Services may be applicable include: <br />421 <br />sloped access with slope greater than or equal to seven percent (7%); <br />422 <br />subterranean areas that are inaccessible by a regular Collection vehicle; and <br />423 <br />gravelareas. <br />424 <br />Container Relocation Service is an additional service provided by Contractor <br />425 <br />that involves the Contractor dispatching a secondary vehicle and route <br />426 <br />personnel to move the Container with the assistance of the vehicle from an <br />427 <br />inaccessible storage location to a serviceable location. In such case, the <br />428 <br />service also involves the return of the Container to its storage location, which <br />429 <br />may be performed manually by route personnel of the regular Collection <br />430 <br />vehicle or by using the secondary vehicle. The Container Relocation Service is <br />431 <br />a regularly scheduled service that is performed each day the Contractor <br />432 <br />provides Collection service for the Container. If Contractor provides Container <br />433 <br />Relocation Service for a Container, it is not entitled to charge for Long Distance <br />434 <br />Service. (Some Member Agencies may want to include these charges and <br />435 <br />others may not. This subsection 5 and other references to Container <br />436 <br />Relocation Service should be deleted for Member Agencies where that service <br />437 <br />is not offered.) <br />438 <br />6. Determination of Service Needs and Disputes.
