486 Customers to purchase or lease Compactors through an outside <br />487 vendor. Regular maintenance of Compactors shall be required by <br />488 Customer (or outside vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the <br />489 Compactors in good working order and functioning at high <br />490 compaction levels. <br />491 D. Agency Facilities <br />492 1. General. Contractor shall Collect Solid Waste from Agency Facilities as <br />493 frequently as scheduled by the Agency, but not less than once per week. <br />494 Agency must subscribe to a minimum service level of three (3) times per week <br />495 Collection in order to be eligible for Collection on Saturday and/or Sunday. <br />496 2. Service Methods. Specifically, the Contractor shall offer the following Collection <br />497 service methodologies to Agency Facilities: <br />498 a. Individual Cart or Bin Service. Contractor shall allow each Agency <br />499 Facility to use Carts, Bins, Compactors, or Drop Boxes for Solid <br />500 Waste Collection. <br />501 b. Centralized Cart or Bin Service. Contractor shall allow each Agency <br />502 Facility to use Carts or Bins for Solid Waste Collection that are <br />503 shared by the Occupants of two or more adjacent Agency Facilities. <br />504 In such case, Contractor shall provide one or more Carts or Bins as <br />505 requested by the Agency provided that no less than ninety-six (96) <br />506 gallons of Container capacity is provided for every four (4) Agency <br />507 Facilities. <br />508 c. Droo Boxes and Compactors. Contractor shall allow Agency to use a <br />509 Drop Box or Compactor for Solid Waste Collection to meet the <br />510 Agency's Disposal needs. In such case, Contractor shall provide <br />511 Agency with a choice of Container capacities ranging from three (3) <br />512 to forty (40) cubic yards (or similar sizes). Contractor shall allow <br />513 Agency to purchase or lease Compactors through an outside vendor. <br />514 Regular maintenance of Compactors shall be required by Agency (or <br />515 outside vendor) as frequently as needed to keep the Compactors in <br />516 good working order and functioning at high compaction levels. <br />517 3. Solid Waste from Public Street, Parks, and Parking Lot Litter Receptacles. <br />518 Contractor shall Collect Solid Waste from public litter receptacles located on <br />519 streets and in parking lots, and from public litter receptacles in parks that are <br />520 accessible for Curbside Collection. Contractor shall also Collect Solid Waste <br />521 that is contained in bags or boxes and placed adjacent to public litter <br />522 receptacles. These Collections will be made between one (1) and seven (7) <br />523 Days per week, as determined by Agency. Contractor is responsible for <br />524 notifying Agency if a public litter receptacle is inoperable within twenty-four (24) <br />525 hours of observing or being notified of the defect. A list of public litter <br />526 receptacles is included in Attachment B. Agency shall annually be allowed to <br />527 increase the number of public litter receptacles provided Collection service by <br />528 an additional five percent (5%) of the total number of receptacles in service as <br />529 of January 1 of each Rate Year after Rate Year Eleven (2021) without being <br />530 billed for such service.
