ATTACHMENT K <br />CONTRACTOR'S COMPENSATION AND RATE SETTING PROCESS <br />• Copies of Bureau of Labor Statistics Index Data <br />• Other information requested by 5BWMA <br />7. SBWMA Review of Application <br />Agency delegates to 5BWMA the authority to conduct the review of the Application. SBWMA will <br />review the Application and supporting documentation to determine that it has been prepared in a <br />manner consistent with the Agreement, including this Attachment. SBWMA may request and <br />Contractor shall provide any missing information necessary to complete the Application. Agency may <br />participate in meetings with SBWMA and Contractor to discuss the Application. <br />A. Preliminary Review <br />SBWMA shall determine if the Application is complete and ready for analysis. <br />1. Comoleteness and Mathematical Accuracv of Aoolication. SBWMA shall determine if: <br />a. All required forms and financial statements are included; <br />b. All forms are completed correctly and data and indexes tie to correct source; and <br />c. All calculations are mathematically correct. <br />If the Application is incomplete or contains arithmetic errors, SBWMA will notify Contractor <br />and Contractor will promptly provide missing information and corrected calculations. <br />2. Verification of Su000rting Documents and Schedules. Various documents are to be included <br />in the Application to support the requested adjustment in Contractor's Compensation. Any <br />supporting information SBWMA finds to have been omitted shall be promptly be provided by <br />Contractor. <br />3. Contractor Notification. SBWMA will notify Contractor when it has determined that the <br />Application is complete. <br />B. Review of Application <br />The Contractor's Compensation review process is intended to allow SBWMA to determine <br />whether the Application is consistent with the Agreement and accurately calculates Contractor's <br />Compensation for the coming Rate Year. SBWMA shall take the following steps during its review <br />of the Application. <br />1. Review of Contractor's Compensation Calculations. SBWMA shall review Contractor's <br />Compensation adjustment calculations to verify that the calculations are performed in <br />accordance with Article 11 and relevant attachments including this Attachment. SBWMA shall <br />notify Contractor of any apparent errors or discrepancies in the calculation of Contractor's <br />Compensation which it identifies. <br />2. Review of Revenue Prosection for Followine Year. SBWMA shall review Contractor's <br />projection of Gross Revenue Billed. Any unusual trends will be identified and explanations <br />obtained from the Contractor. <br />3. Determine Prior Year Revenue Surolus/Shortfall.
