2569 <br />7. <br />All Collection vehicles shall be equipped with and shall utilize on -board <br />2570 <br />computers and GPS tracking devices with real-time transmission to all levels of <br />2571 <br />Contractor's operations. The on -board computer system shall: (i) capture all <br />2572 <br />operations data needed to complete the Contractor's reporting requirements for <br />2573 <br />this Agreement; (ii) capture all operating data needed to prepare the <br />2574 <br />Contractor's Application; and (iii) allow Customer service staff direct real-time <br />2575 <br />access to driver data including vehicle location, Container set -out and service <br />2576 <br />data, and notes regarding service issues. <br />2577 <br />8. <br />All Collection vehicles shall be equipped with a broom, shovel, absorbent <br />2578 <br />materials, and other approved cleanup devices and materials for emergencies, <br />2579 <br />or any spillage or leaks that may occur. <br />2580 <br />9. <br />Route supervisors and management personnel shall use one-half (0.5) Ton <br />2581 <br />hybrid pickup trucks while performing services. <br />2582 <br />10. <br />Contractor developed preliminary specifications for vehicles that will be <br />2583 <br />purchased and placed into service after the Commencement Date. These <br />2584 <br />specifications, which were the basis for Contractor's vehicle depreciation and <br />2585 <br />interest costs (presented in Attachment N), are presented in Attachment P. At <br />2586 <br />least eighteen (18) months prior to Contractors initial acquisition of new <br />2587 <br />Collection vehicles to be placed into service after January 1, 2021, Contractor <br />2588 <br />shall meet and confer with the SBWMA to discuss the type of vehicles to be <br />2589 <br />purchased and fuel options. The Agency and SBWMA may be interested in <br />2590 <br />considering different fuel options with the goal of minimizing the air emission <br />2591 <br />impact of the Collection vehicles. At the request of the Agency or SBWMA, <br />2592 <br />Contractor shall provide vehicle information, specifications, and fuel options <br />2593 <br />and a cost impact analysis of various fueling options. Contractor shall obtain <br />2594 <br />the SBWMA's approval in the fuel selection prior to ordering new Collection <br />2595 <br />vehicles. SBWMA recognizes that Contractor's vehicle purchase plan <br />2596 <br />anticipates purchases over multiple years. This meet and confer obligation is <br />2597 <br />intended to occur prior to Contractor's initial purchase of new Collection <br />2598 <br />vehicles to discuss a strategy for all vehicles purchased after January 1, 2021 <br />2599 <br />unless Parties agree otherwise. <br />2600 C. Vehicle Identification. Contractors name, local telephone number, and a unique <br />2601 vehicle identification number designated by Contractor for each vehicle shall be <br />2602 prominently displayed on all four (4) sides of the vehicles, in letters and numbers <br />2603 with a maximum five (5) digit sequence, that are no less than two and one-half (2.5) <br />2604 inches in height. Contractor shall not place any other information or logo on <br />2605 Contractor vehicles, unless approved in writing by SBWMA. Vehicles shall be <br />2606 clearly labeled to indicate the materials Collected by that vehicle, specifically; "Solid <br />2607 Waste," "Recyclables," or "Organic Materials," as directed by SBWMA. <br />2608 D. Inventory. Contractor shall furnish the Agency and SBWMA a written inventory of <br />2609 all vehicles used in providing service, and shall update the inventory annually. The <br />2610 inventory shall list all vehicles by manufacturer, identification number, date of <br />2611 acquisition, type, capacity, decibel rating, average weight of load, and average <br />2612 loaded axle weights. <br />2613 E.
