6.2.13. - Page 49 <br />Scheidt & Bachmann will maintain a hard and electronic copy of all pertinent warranty <br />documentation at its office in Burlington, MA, including warranties from third party <br />suppliers. If the Redwood City project complies with request for office space to Scheidt <br />& Bachmann, Scheidt & Bachmann will store these documents and records on site as <br />well. <br />Limitations <br />Scheidt & Bachmann does not warrant uninterrupted or error free operation of the <br />product, and shall not be liable for the loss or destruction of data or media resulting <br />from the use or service of this product. It is the purchaser's responsibility to secure all <br />programs and data contained in or affected by the product. The purchaser is cautioned <br />that product performance may be affected by installation, configuration, software, <br />purchaser date and operator control of the system and it is the purchaser's <br />responsibility to determine functional implementation. <br />This limited warranty covers manufacturing defects in material and workmanship in <br />normal operating conditions, and except to the extent otherwise expressly provided <br />for herein, use of this product, and shall not apply to the following, including, but not <br />limited to: applications and uses for which this product was not intended; altered <br />product; cosmetic damage or exterior finish; accidents, abuse, neglect, fire, water, <br />lightning, or other acts of nature or god; use of external wiring or connectors not <br />supplied or not authorized by Scheidt & Bachmann, or which damage this product or <br />result in service problems; incorrect electrical voltage, fluctuations and surges; <br />purchaser adjustments and failure to follow up the operating instructions, cleaning, <br />maintenance and environmental instructions covered by Scheidt & Bachmann's <br />standard documentation. <br />Time and material for repair or replacement parts damaged or rendered unserviceable <br />due to apparent and provable misuse, abuse, vandalism or negligence by the owner, <br />operational employees or the parking public are excluded as a warranty item and will <br />be charged separately.
