V. Make available to each Member health insurance that meets or <br />exceeds the standards for Minimum Essential Coverage as defined by the <br />Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or provides information on health <br />insurance options should the Member decline the health insurance plan offered <br />by the Site. <br />B. Duties and Responsibilities of the Partner Oroanization. <br />The Partner Organization shall: <br />i. Pay a partnership fee to Public Allies, Inc., in the amount of <br />$16,240 per Member. <br />ii. This payment will be issued in the form of a check to Bay Area <br />Community Resources in the amount of $16.240, due on the following schedule <br />unless otherwise agreed upon in writing: <br />• 1 full payment on 10/31/2018; or <br />• 2 payment installments on 10/31/2018 and 1/31/2019; or <br />• 3 payment installments on 10/31/2018, 1/31/2019, and 3/30/2019. <br />iii. Accept from Public Allies Site information regarding potential <br />Members, evaluate their suitability for the Position in good faith and, after <br />evaluating a reasonable number of Members, use its best efforts to select a <br />Member for the Position for the Term; <br />iv. For as long as a Member remains with the Partner Organization, <br />permit the Member to attend, with full compensation, off-site training every Friday <br />of the Term, as well as other AmeriCorps or other Public Allies Site required <br />events, including, but not limited to core, mid -year and year-end retreats as <br />outlined on the Program year calendar; <br />V. Provide Public Allies Site with a clear, AmeriCorps-compliant <br />Position description that describes capacity -building activities as requested, and <br />ensures that Member service activities are those outlined in the Position <br />description; <br />Vi. Use the agreed upon Position description in providing initial <br />orientation to each Member during his/her first week at the Partner Organization; <br />Vii. Provide each Member with a Supervisor or functional equivalent <br />("Supervisor') who will provide ongoing guidance and coaching for the Member in <br />fulfilling duties of the Position and use their best efforts, with the aid of Public <br />Allies Site, to give necessary skills training applicable to the Position, and <br />communicate with the Public Allies Site in a timely and ongoing manner; <br />Page 4 of 23 <br />REV: 08-17-18 DZ <br />ATTY/AGR.2018.196/Bay Area Community Resources Public Allies FY 2018-19 <br />
