5. Everyone should do what they can to help with climate change.
5 let's support this Initiative for the sake of our children and our planet!
5- strongly agree Redwood City government should adopt a Climate Action Plan aimed at
reducing carbon emissions to combat climate change
5 every city should be thinking about the future and the impact on we are having on global
warming. We cannot rely on our government especially with the current President that doesn't
beleive in global warming. If every city implemented initiatives, no matter if small or large, to
reduce pollution we can make an impact. Also, a city with the revenue we have, and the
growing population, we have a responsibility to ourselves and the next generation. Redwood
City has the revenue to add climate exports to the council. Let's be a best in class city!
5 - Strongly support. Leave it up to the federal government? You must be kidding!
5 it may be too late to do anything meaningful but every little bit counts
5 climate change Is a serious threat
5 We all have to do our part, even if it seems small. Collectively, it makes a difference. Especially
when the federal government is seemingly going backwards and trying to prevent California
from moving forward on it's own. "Be the change you wish to see in the world."
5. It doesn't have to be extreme, but we should be good citizens of the world and do our part.
S. The city set emission goals in about 2005-7. We can use best management practices that are
widely known.
5- climate change is something we need to look at and act upon from a personal level up to
the highest governmental level. Of course City Hall should be concerned and proactive. But
cities should be looking at property safety and civic engagement. Water levels are going to rise
and I'd like to see the plan on how we're going to keep properties from being flooded. I'm not
sure how PWC can control carbon emissions except to reduce car idling.Synchronized stop
lights. Limit street maintenance outside of peak commute time. Cab/Lyft/Uber waiting with
engines off.Let's plan for the worst and hope for the best with the key word being "plan".
