Public Comment: John Wise, representing the Boy Scouts of America as a merit badge counselor, stated that in the audience are 12 scouts working toward their Eagle Scout badges in communication. Council comments included that a police presence will be important with the anticipate activity in the downtown and the need to know that the plan is not a compromise but exactly what meets the anticipated needs. The idea of the surveillance system is excellent and publicizing that information would be important because a main difference is that Redwood City will have the plaza.
