5- any plan helps the parking situation is a good idea.
4, this would be
nice, especially in the areas with a lot of over
parking,
but I would
want proof
that it wouldn't
dip into other funds, since
Redwood City is so tight on
funds right
now
5 the city needs to enforce parking laws. We have multiple cars that are "for sale" on our street
that take up all nearby available street parking. The PD doesn't enforce the 72 hour law unless
multiple complaints are made.
4Something needs to be done about the parking situation in residential neighborhoods.
Residents should not have to move their vehicles every 72 hours if parked in front of their
homes. However, visitors should not be blocking driveways, as happened to me Saturday
night, or red curbs and fire hydrants.
Why should any resident of Redwood City subsidize parking leeches?? ..... 5 ... 5..5!
5, in addition people who owns 9 trucks per household should not park over the curb, looks
ghetto and damage the grass or flowers. Check on Valota, with my camera we watch the way
how the drivers have their loud music and do not respect the stop signs
5. This is also a huge problem in the Main Parking Lot downtown where I live. All weekend
long cars and trucks use the red and loading zones to go to dinner and movies, ignoring the
curb colors. I know this is not allowed, however nobody cares because they never get a
citation. It's a huge problem for those of us who live here and have parking permits and have
to use this lot 24/7 365
5, yes!!! City is always asking for money so go ahead and find a way to control the mess you
created!!!
4, but I think more officers are needed in general. The department is very understaffed.
5 - yes! Get the commercial vehicles off our streets! Lawn services trucks are the worst! Stop it!
5 = There should be a policy for parking permits for residents. If you park outside on the street
you live on, you should not be ticketed. If you do not live on that street, then no more than 72
hours should allowed. It's not fair to home owners to restrict parking on their streets. The
complaints are about overflow parking.
