Criteria not met justifying "extra safety <br />features:" There is NO "high need." <br />• Criteria B was NOT MET since there weren't 40 school pedestrian using the <br />crossing; there were only 12 E/W and 3 N/S pedestrians using the <br />crosswalk <br />• Criteria E was NOT MET since Whipple is posted as a 25 mph road. <br />• Therefore, RRFB ( flashing beacons at school crosswalks) are not justified <br />on Whipple and Iris/Woddstock. <br />Here are their words: <br />• "A RRFB is not warranted based upon evaluation criteria provided CA <br />MUTCD Section 4L.101(CA).
