<br />Work Not Included <br /> <br />. Site specific traffic plans and studies will not be performed. The technical <br />specifications will incorporate the City's requirements and any CEQA requirements <br />as performance standards for construction, and the construction contractor shall <br />be made responsible for submitting traffic control plans for review and approval <br />during the construction. <br /> <br />. Major relocation of existing utilities is not included, unless specifically identified <br />herein. If utility relocations are identified during preliminary design, they would <br />constitute "additional services". Incidental relocation of existing utilities (less than <br />10 If per location and less than 8-inch diameter) is included. <br /> <br />City Provided Design Information <br /> <br />. The City has requested that geotechnical investigations be omitted from the scope <br />of services for this Project and that City standard details and specifications be <br />used for materials, trenching, bedding and backfill in City streets. The City will <br />provide up to six geotechnical reports for sites within the Project area. These <br />reports, reports prepared for the current SBSA work, and the details and <br />specifications developed for Bid Packages 1 to 3 will be used in the Project design. <br />In addition, the drawings and specifications will be reviewed by a geotechnical <br />engineer at the 60% level. <br /> <br />. Soil resistivity surveys, stray current evaluations and other corrosion related <br />evaluations and design work are not included in the scope at the request of the <br />City. The standard corrosion control specifications and design details developed <br />for Bid Packages 1 to 3 will be used in the Project design. <br /> <br />. Kennedy/Jenks Consultants' design and other work that is based on geotechnical, <br />soil resistivity and other information provided by the City or others shall be correct <br />to the best of Kennedy/Jenks Consultants' knowledge and belief. <br /> <br />City Provided Services <br /> <br />. The City will be responsible for any modifications required to their or to San Carlo's <br />potable water systems required to maintain a pressure differential. <br /> <br />. Environmental (CEQA/NEPA) related work and reporting has been previously <br />performed by the City, and the mitigation requirements will be incorporated into the <br />design and technical specifications. <br /> <br />. Kennedy/Jenks will assist permit coordination and acquisition for Union Pacific <br />Railroad, Caltrans, and San Carlos rights-of-way.
