<br />1. Coordinate potholing activities at up to 30 locations. <br />2. Prepare plan and profile drawings for the distribution pipelines at 1" = 20'. <br /> <br />3. Prepare plan and profile drawing for up to 7 ,500 lineal feet of 8-inch branch pipelines <br />at 1" = 20'. <br /> <br />4. Prepare detail drawings. <br />5. Prepare general drawings. <br /> <br />6. Prepare pipeline trench cross-sections (up to 8) with respect to adjacent utilities for <br />review by the City. <br /> <br />7. Incorporate service locations to customer sites provided by the site retrofit team. <br /> <br />8. Submit draft sets of drawings for City review up to four times prior to completion of the <br />90% design. <br /> <br />9. Prepare contract documents including City front-end documents, bid lists, City and <br />Engineer technical specifications and other related documents for bid-build. <br /> <br />10. Prepare permit application for Caltrans, Union Pacific Railroad and City of San Carlos <br />encroachments, for City's submittal to Caltrans, Union Pacific Railroad and San <br />Carlos. <br /> <br />11. Prepare 90% engineer's opinion of probable construction cost. <br />12. Provide 5 copies of a 90% submittal of final design for City review, including: <br /> <br />a. Half-size Drawings; <br />b. Contract Documents; and <br /> <br />c. Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost and schedule. <br />13. Coordinate the geotechnical review of the 90% submittal. <br /> <br />14. Participate in a 90% Review Meeting with City staff. <br />Task 4 - 100% Design <br /> <br />After incorporating the City's 90% review comments, Consultant shall submit 5 copies of a <br />100% submittal including revised preliminary design report, engineer's opinion of <br />probable construction cost, design drawings and contract documents for City's final <br />review. After receiving City approval of the 100% submittal from City, the Consultant shall <br />deliver the following documents: <br /> <br />a) One set of full-size mylar stamped and signed final drawings, along with <br />specifications and contract documents; <br /> <br />8 <br /> <br />sllibrary/agreements/consultanls/consultanl_kennedY--Ìenks_Exhibil A_BP 4 & 5 <br />
