6.13. - Page 88 of 366 <br />17.1.3 All costs incurred by the City to maintain the Group Health Benefits Plan in <br />compliance with Government Code Section 22751, et. seg., and all costs <br />incurred by the City to maintain the Cafeteria Plan in compliance with IRS Code <br />Section 125, shall be paid from the aforementioned monthly dollar caps identified <br />in Sections 171,4, and 17.1.5. Such costs include, but are not limited to <br />premiums, urcharges, and/or administrative fees; In the event there are any <br />costs not charged to the City due to delays by PERS and/or other administrative <br />agencies in calculating or reporting these costs, said costs shall be carried over <br />and charged as administrative costs to the following plan year and deducted <br />from the aforementioned monthly dollar caps accordingly. <br />17.1.4 Cafeteria Plan: <br />Available Benefits - The City shall maintain in accordance with Section 125 of the <br />IRS Code a Cafeteria Plan, for the purpose of providing employees with access <br />to various health and welfare benefits. Benefits available through the Cafeteria <br />Plan include, but are not limited to: <br />A. Group Health Plan Medical Premiums <br />B. Flexible Spending Account for Dependent Care <br />C. Flexible Spending Account for Medical Expenses <br />17.1.5 City Contribution: <br />Effective January 1, 2012, for each active, full- <br />time employeeolled in a City -provided medical plan, the City will provide on a <br />monthly basis for the purpose of providing minimum essential coverage to <br />employees and dependents, eligible full ^mpleyee fer the ^f^rn.r.entinr,nrl a <br />Cafeteria Plan shatl-beAllowance equal to ninety percent (90%) of the premium <br />of the health plan and level of coverage selected by the employee, up to ninety <br />percent (90%) of the CalPERS Bay Area Kaiser Family Premium per employee, <br />minus any costs incurred by the City to maintain the Health Benefits Plans under <br />Government Code Section 22750, et, seq.
