6.B. - Page 130 of 366 <br />TENTATIVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />AND REDWOOD CITY POLICE SUPERVISORS ASSOCIATION (RCPSA) <br />RE: 2018 SUCCESSOR MOU NEGOTIATIONS <br />22750, et. seq. Such costs include, but are not limited to, surcharges, and/or <br />administrative fees. <br />10.2.3 For employees covered by this MOU, this amount shall be prorated. (For <br />permanent part-time employees working twenty (20) or more hours per week <br />covered by this MOU this amount shall be prorated.) <br />10.2.4 In the event the above listed amount plus the city payment towards health benefit <br />plan premiums, specified in RCPSA MOU Sections 10.1.2, 10.2.2 and 10.2.3 <br />above, are insufficient to pay one hundred percent (100%Lo) of the premiums <br />required of employees enrolled in any one of the Group health benefit plans, the <br />City shall make a payroll deduction from the employee's pay to cover the <br />difference in cost. <br />10.2.5 The health benefit plans offered shall be those of the California Public <br />Employee's Retirement System (Ca1PERS) provided however, upon the request <br />of the City, the parties will re -open RCPSA MOU Section 10.2.5 to meet and <br />confer on modifying RCPSA MOU Section 10.2.5 to provide a different group <br />health plan. It is understood that any change from the group health plans offered <br />by the California Public Employee's Retirement System (CaIPERS) will only be <br />made by mutual agreement between the City of Redwood City and the Police <br />Supervisors Association. <br />10.2.6 For employees who have ten (10) or more years of service and retire under the <br />City's retirement plan within one hundred twenty (120) days of separation from <br />City employ, the retirement stipend paid by the City shall bei_ <br />A. The City will pay the PEMHCA minimum employer contribution <br />to CAPERS and reimburse the retiree for the remaining difference in <br />remium amount. <br />For Tier 1 retirees hired by the Citv before September 1. 2018 who reside in <br />other hi her priced regions, the City's contribution shall not exceed the <br />amount of the premium for employee only coverage in the plan selected b <br />the retiree, not to exceed the amount of the Ca1PERS Bav Area Kaiser <br />Premium for family coves e based on the Bay Area Regional pricing <br />schedule.
