This event shall be conducted from <br />10:00 am to 8:00 pm on Saturday, December 1. <br />6. Insurance: Permittee shall provide the City commercial general liability <br />insurance coverage for any and all activities permitted hereunder from an <br />insurance carrier admitted and authorized to do business in the State of <br />California with a current Best's Key Rating of not less than "A -:V." Coverage <br />shall be in the amount of $3,000,000 per occurrence and $4,000,000 aggregate, <br />naming the City and its Council, and their boards, officers, commissions, <br />committees, employees, volunteers, and agents (collectively, the "City -insureds") <br />as insureds or additional insureds. If the City -insureds are covered as additional <br />insureds, the Permittee shall provide endorsements to the policy which shall <br />provide that: (i) said insurance shall be primary and noncontributory insurance <br />with respect to the City -insureds, (ii) apply separately to each insured against <br />whom claim is made or suit is brought, except with respect to the limits of the <br />insured's liability (cross liability endorsement), and (iii) name the City -insureds <br />as additional insureds. If Permittee has employees who will participate in the <br />event as employees rather than volunteers, Permittee shall carry workers' <br />compensation insurance at the statutory minimum, providing a waiver of <br />subrogation with respect to the City. Permittee shall furnish evidence of such <br />insurance coverage in a form satisfactory to the City at least ten (10) days prior to <br />commencement of the event. <br />7. Damage to Public Property: Permittee shall reimburse the City for the costs of any <br />damages to City -owned property in the vicinity of the designated areas, caused by or <br />arising out of the conducting of the event permitted hereunder, or the acts or <br />omissions to act of persons participating in said event. All signs or other markings <br />placed in or upon public property, including the public right-of-way in connection <br />with said event, shall be removed immediately following said event. <br />8. Compliance With Laws: Permittee shall comply with all appropriate and <br />applicable rules, regulations, and laws in connection with the conducting of said <br />event or any and all activities associated therewith. This permit shall be in addition <br />to all other permits that are or may be required for conducting this event, or any <br />associated activity.
