Task 2: Major Repairs <br />A. Contractor will obtain written approval from City staff before starting any major <br />repairs. <br />B. Contractor will submit to City staff the following information in order to obtain <br />written approval for a repair: <br />- A description of the work determined to be necessary; <br />- A cost estimate for such work; and <br />- An expected timeline for completion. <br />C. Contractor will remove, transport, repair or replace, and re -install pumps, motors, <br />and related equipment to and from the City's storm water pump stations. <br />D. Contractor will coordinate with City staff for access to the pump stations. <br />Task 3: On -Call and Emergency Repairs <br />A. Contractor will maintain a telephone number for the entire term of the <br />Agreement, and any and all extensions, at which City staff can reach Contractor <br />24 hours a day, 365 days a year for emergency requests. <br />B. Contractor will respond to emergency repair requests within 4 hours of receiving <br />notice from City staff. Notice may include written or verbal communication, <br />including but not limited to emails and phone calls. <br />C. Contractor will perform a site visit within 24 hours of receiving notice from the City <br />and will utilize best available options to provide a timely resolution. <br />D. Contractor will respond within 48 hours to non -emergency repair requests. <br />General Expectations: <br />A. Parts and Materials: <br />Contractor will have available an inventory of common parts and materials needed <br />to maintain the City's storm water pumps and motors. Contractor must have <br />materials needed for preventative maintenance available at all times. <br />B. Damages: <br />Contractor is responsible for any damage caused by Contractor's staff during the <br />course of theirwork, and will correct any damages as directed by the Citywithin an <br />agreed upon timeframe. <br />C. Staff: <br />Contractor will provide City staff with the direct phone numbers, cell phone numbers, <br />and email addresses of key staff involved in this project. <br />D. Shop: <br />Contractor will maintain adequate shop and storage facilities during the course of <br />this Agreement and any and all extensions. Contractor's facility shall house the <br />necessary equipment and materials for repair and maintenance of the City's storm <br />water pumps. <br />E. Equipment: <br />Contractor will maintain in good condition all equipment necessary to perform the <br />work described under this Scope of Work. <br />REV: 10-04-19 EI <br />ATTY/AGR.Amend No. 1/Commercial Pump & Mechanical, Inc.
