This is a citywide program for seniors and persons <br />with disabilities and funds will be used to make free minor home repairs to single family owner <br />occupied dwellings for home repair to maintain safe housing. An additional program component <br />provides emergency loans to correct emergency health and safety conditions that must be resolved <br />quickly and cannot wait for a Home Improvement loan. <br />$134,269 CDBG Program Income - Multifamily Loan Program: City of Redwood City, 1017 <br />Middlefield Road. These funds are used to leverage CDBG funds for rehabilitation loans on rental <br />property occupied by low income tenants. The program is offered citywide but targeted to Census <br />Tracts # 6101, 6102, 6104, 6107, 6108 and 6109 where more than 50% of the Census Tract <br />households earn less than 80% of area median income. <br />$20,500 CDBG - Rebuilding Together: 2201 Bay Road, Menlo Park. These funds will be used to <br />pay for materials toward rebuilding of homes on National Rebuild Day each year for very low <br />income homeowners citywide. <br />$124,090.50 HOME - West Bay Housing Corp - Clark Home: 1293 Alameda de las Pulgas, <br />Redwood City. These funds will be used to make code and accessibility improvements to a home <br />that will be used for independent housing for adults with developmental disabilities. This property <br />is located in Census Tract 6111 <br />PRIORITY # 2: Provide Public Service activities that help to reduce poverty, prevent <br />homelessness, and provide intervention programs that meets Basic Human needs and Assists <br />Special Needs Populations <br />$10,000 CDBG - Clara Mateo Shelter: Inn Vision The Way Home, 795 Willow Road, <br />Bldg.323-D, Menlo Park. These funds will pay for operation and support costs for a citywide <br />emergency and transitional housing program for homeless individuals and couples without children. <br />$10,000 CDBG- Daybreak Shelter for Homeless Youth: - Youth Enrichment Services, <br />639 Douglas Avenue. This is a citywide Program and funds will be used to pay operating costs for <br />transitional housing for homeless youth. <br />$15,000 CDBG- Domestic Violence Shelter (CORA) Community Overcoming Relationship <br />Abuse, Address Suppressed.
