<br /> 8A <br /> Attachme~e 16 <br /> ANNUAL ACTION PLAN 2006 - 2007 <br />$40,000 CDBG- Fair Housing Counseling: MidPeninsula Citizens for Fair Housing, <br />457 Kingsley A venue, Palo Alto. This is a citywide Program and funds will be used to provide <br />assistance to Redwood City residents who believe they have experienced discrimination in the housing <br />market. <br />$160,511 CDBG <br />$38,269.30 HOME General Administration: City of Redwood City, 1017 Middlefield <br />Road. These funds are used to pay staff wages and benefits to administer Community Development <br />Block Grant, HOME, and other federal or state funds. This budget will provide salaries, supplies and <br />professional services necessary to implement the Consolidated Plan priorities and strategies. <br />$22,000 CDBG- Homesharing Help and Information Program: Human Investment <br />Project, Inc., 2600 Middlefield Road. These funds will be used citywide to provide homesharing help, <br />matching people seeking housing with others willing to share their housing accommodations. <br />$18,000 CDBG - Homeless Prevention & Eviction Defense Project: La Raza Centro <br />Legal, Inc., 2600 Middlefield Road, These funds will be used citywide to intervene in evictions and <br />landlord tenant disputes to assist low income tenants at risk of becoming homeless. <br />$10,213.50 CDBG- Internship Training Program: Regional Occupational Program of San <br />Mateo County, 900 Main Street. These funds are used citywide to support hands on job experience <br />internships following training programs through ROP before entering the work force. <br />$25,000 CDBG - Maple Street Shelter, Shelter Network of San Mateo County,1580A Maple <br />Street. These funds will be used to pay operating costs for an emergency shelter for homeless persons <br />with mental disabilities on a citywide basis including assistance in securing health care, fmancial <br />benefits, employment, training, and alternatives to long term housing. <br />$15,000 CDBG- Rotating Church Shelter Program: Interfaith Hospitality Network, <br />1720 El Camino, Ste.7, Burlinganle. These funds will be used citywide to support operation costs to <br />administer a Rotating Church Shelter Program. <br />$40,000 CDBG <br />$40,000 General Fund - Redwood Family House: Shelter Network of San Mateo County, <br />110 Locust Street. These funds will be used citywide to pay operating costs for a transitional housing <br />facility for homeless families. <br />$10,000 CDBG- Safe Harbor Shelter: Samaritan House, 295 North Access Road, South <br />San Francisco. These funds will be used to support operating costs for an emergency shelter for <br />homeless individuals. <br /> 4 <br />
