• Prepare signal timing sheet for Traffic Signal Timing Coordination; • Prepare Safe Route to School and Green Infrastructure exhibits and calculation; • Conduct Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) Assessment; • Collect and review Utility Facility Maps; • Collect and review recorded drawings; • Coordinate with utility agencies; • Prepare base map showing existing improvements; • Prepare underground utility mapping; • Prepare for review by the city, 50% design drawing consisting of cross-sections, construction notes, detailing of major components, landscaping components, construction cost estimates, and construction schedule; • Prepare a design recommendation memo outlining the proposed and optional additional/recommended improvements that could be supported by the project budget. Assumption: For the typical location, development of 1 alternative is assumed. Additional alternatives would require an amendment to this agreement as set forth in Task 8. City will choose up to 3 locations where options/alternatives are to be designed. These will be vetted during Task 2, and no significant design changes will be made in subsequent tasks. Task Deliverables: Two (2) sets of fifty -percent (50%) design plans (24"x36" drawing). Topographic survey, 50% plan set and engineer's estimate in PDF format and AutoCAD files of plan set (version 2015). Consultant shall prepare a response matrix listing City's review comments and consultant's responses to those comments. Consultant shall incorporate City and consultant agreed-upon comments. The consultant shall return the original redline comments from the City with the succeeding submittals. Consultant shall perform the tasks including, but not limited to, the following: • Meet with the City to discuss the comments on 50% design submittal; • Review and Respond to City's Review Comments in a Comment Matrix; • Incorporate 50% design submittal review comments; • Prepare design specifications; • Prepare Rectangular Rapid Flash Beacon (RRFB) detail sheet for the following 4locations: o Bay Rd/Tenth Ave and Florence St/Seventeenth Ave shall be solar powered, o Bay Rd/8th Ave and Spring St/Flynn Ave shall be connected to existing electrical services; • Prepare Safe Route to School and Green Infrastructure plan; • Modify design components based on underground utility conflicts; • Prepare 90% design drawing consisting of cross-sections, construction notes, detailing of major components, landscaping components, specification outline, construction cost estimates, and construction schedule.
