Totally agree. We pull some cars from the freeway plus better for our environment
5. 1 worked in SF and always hoped that a ferry would open. I would still take it - super
convenient and relaxing no traffic horns blaring...
4. Support. Issue: must have parking available. Question, cost comparable to other
transportation?Support because convenient, not more time than driving, BART or Caltrain,
attractive views, flexibility and enhanced options for citizens and tourists.
Assuming no environmental impact, then 5
4 can't imagine it would be fast enough for commuting, but it would be useful and fun and a
great way to highlight the Bay
5. So important with traffic becoming increasingly worse!
4 - would be interested but would need to learn more about pricing, timing of transport to
understand if it is worth whole
41 would love to see ferry service from Redwood City to S. F. But not if it's going to hemorrhage
money
SYes please! Get this going ASAP!
5 - strongly supportOur water ways are under utilised ways of transportation. With the
increase of job opportunities we need more options for workers and families to travel up and
down the peninsula. It only makes sense that we invest in the future. BART would be another
great existing resource to have that would help connect RWC to SF. By having a ferry, people
would be more relaxed while commuting by water rather than 101 or 280!
Strongly support a Ferry System for the Port if Redwood City. Have wanted this FOREVER.
Service to East Bay, SF and North Bay. 40 year resident of RWC, with previous 10 in San Mateo
and would have gladly used the RWC system then, as well.Revamp Woodside Rd/101 with a
direct overpass without traffic lights, widen Seaport, develop waterfront with low impact
parklands/walking paths. Have a FEW coffee & restaurants. Perfect!
SAlong with vans or buses that will take users up and back to parking lots.
