shadow scenarios will be analyzed consistent with the General Plan EIR's mitigation
requirements.
The associated costs for this optional task is contingent on the following:
Project applicant to provide necessary 2D plans and elevations to support the
shadow modeling effort.
Project applicant to provide proposed building designs in 3D format, located on
topographical survey with surrounding existing building information. Format of
3D designs to be provided in either Rhino V5 or Sketchup V. 2017 (preferred),
but AECOM will accept 3D AutoCAD or Revit native files.
If AECOM needs to model the proposed buildings in 3D, this can be prepared from
the applicant's plan drawings, but will be considered additional services that warrant
revisions to this scope and costs.
Task CA — Final Shade and Shadow Study
AECOM will address one round of consolidated comments from the City of Redwood
City. If needed, AECOM will meet with the City and the applicant to discuss potential
mitigation measures and their feasibility. Upon addressing one round of comments,
AECOM will forward a Final Shade and Shadow Study to the City.
Task D — Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan
The purpose of the TDM Plan is to reduce the amount of traffic the Project is
anticipated to generate. This can be accomplished by primarily reducing the office
employees' reliance on single -occupant automobiles and by increasing their use of
walking, biking, carpooling, and transit (Caltrain and bus). Measures to reduce the
amount of traffic generated by the residents will also be addressed.
Task D.1- Describe Existing and Planned Pedestrian, Bicycle, and Transit Facilities and
Services near the Site
AECOM will describe the existing and planned pedestrian, bicycle, and transit
facilities and services near the site to determine the likelihood that these modes of
transportation can be used.
Task D.2 - Identify TDM Measures and Strategies incorporated into the Site Location and
Design
AECOM will work with the project team to identify features of the site location and
project design that will reduce automobile traffic to the site. Features would include
the site's proximity to the Redwood City Caltrain Station, the mix of complementary
land uses on-site (e.g., office and residential), ample bicycle parking, pedestrian
facilities, etc.
ATTY/AGR/2018.270/AECOM PSA
REV: 12-07-18 PR
