9.A. - Page 4 of 15 <br />• Project WeHOPE (WeHOPE Shelter): Provides emergency shelter and housing/support services for <br />single adults (located in East Palo Alto). <br />• Redwood City Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) Collaborative Partnership: Strategizes outreach and <br />engagement towards reducing chronic homelessness amongst individuals in our community—working <br />one by one to help these individuals end their homelessness. City Funding for Fiscal Year 2018-19: <br />$25,000 <br />• Salvation Army (Salvation Army): Delinquent Rent Assistance, Utility Assistance, Food Assistance, <br />other emergency assistance. <br />• Samaritan House (Coordinated Entry System (CES): A CES Specialist receives referrals from the Fair <br />Oaks Community Center Information and Referral Program of homeless families and individuals to <br />further assess for and provide access to housing options, including emergency housing or shelter. <br />• Samaritan House (Safe Harbor Shelter): Provides emergency shelter and housing/support services <br />for single adults. City Funding for Fiscal Year 2018-19: $17,000 <br />• Samaritan House Free Clinic of Redwood City: Free Medical Services (including medical, dental, and <br />vision). City Funding for Fiscal Year 2018-19: $15,000 <br />• San Mateo County Sheriff (Psychiatric Emergency Team): The team is a collaboration between the <br />Sheriffs Office and licensed clinicians to provide appropriate resolution to mental health-related <br />crises. The PERT team evaluates a situation, assesses the individual's mental health condition and <br />needs, and, if appropriate, transports individual to a hospital or other treatment center, or refers <br />them to a community-based resource or treatment facility. <br />• Several local churches coordinated by St. Pius Church volunteer (Sandwiches on Sundays): Provides <br />lunch on Sundays, 11:00am-12:30pm in the backyard of the Fair Oaks Community Center <br />• St. Anthony's Church (Dining Room): Provides hot midday meals Monday through Saturday. <br />• St. Francis Center: Provides food assistance and clothing. Also operates subsidized housing, including <br />housing in the City and in nearby areas of unincorporated San Mateo County. <br />• St. Vincent de Paul Society (Redwood City Homeless Conference): Provides emergency food and <br />other basic needs for the homeless, Monday through Friday, 1:15pm-2:15pm at the Fair Oaks <br />Community Center <br />• Star Vista (Your House South): Emergency shelter for youth.
