6.D. - Page 22 of 27 <br />Details <br />Consultant shall prepare standard and special details that will be appropriate <br />for the project design for each construction plan set. <br />65% Specifications and Estimate <br />The Draft technical specifications shall be in City format. The draft <br />specifications shall correlate with each of the bid items shown in the 65% cost <br />estimate and the 65% plans. Likewise, Consultant shall prepare a <br />corresponding itemized estimate of construction costs. The specifications shall <br />be in MS Word, the estimate shall be in MS Excel format. It is assumed the <br />City will provide the front end "boilerplate" specifications. <br />Consultant shall transmit the 65% PS&E to the City for review and attend a <br />meeting to review the documents. Based on City comments received, <br />Consultant shall move forward with final 90% PS&E after approval from the <br />City (see Task 7). <br />Task 6 Deliverables: <br />65% PS&E - Two (2) hardcopy sets of 24° X 36" plan documents, along with 8.5" <br />X 11" specifications and estimates and topographic survey. Electronic versions <br />shall be provided as well. Electronic drawings with be compatible with AutoCAD <br />2015. <br />TASK 7: 90% PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES <br />Consultant shall meet with the City to review and begin to incorporate comments <br />received on the 65% PS&E submittal, along with any other data collected, and refine <br />the documents for the 90% PS&E submittal. Comments and responses shall be <br />compiled into a matrix to document the process and original redlines shall be returned to <br />the City. Draft technical specifications shall be prepared in accordance with the outline <br />specifications prepared for the 65% PS&E. Requirements for all material submittals <br />shall be included in the draft specifications. Similarly, the opinion of probable <br />construction costs shall be updated and submitted. The 90% design shall consist: <br />signing and striping drawings, street lighting and signal design, civil design and grading, <br />construction notes, construction cost estimates and construction schedule. <br />Consultant shall transmit the 90% PS&E to the City for review and attend a meeting to <br />review the documents.
