Task 2.1.1 Collect New Data <br />Below is a summary of available data for Roosevelt Avenue from RWCmoves; Consultant may <br />use them for this project: <br />Peak -hour pedestrian volumes at the intersections of Alameda de Las Pulgas, Valota Rd, <br />Fulton Street, and EI Camino Real <br />Peak -hour bicycle volumes at the intersections of Alameda de Las Pulgas, Valota Rd, <br />Fulton Street, and EI Camino Real <br />Existing transit ridership along the corridor (average daily boardings and alightings) for <br />Route 79 at the time of data collection for RWCmoves <br />Daily traffic counts on the corridor <br />Consultant shall collect additional data as follows: <br />Peak Period (4 -Hour) Turning Movement Counts (to include all modes), at up to 4 <br />intersections <br />Daily speeds on the corridor (includes bicycle counts), at up to 2 locations on the <br />corridor <br />A review of aerials, Google street view, or recent as-builts to complement on-site <br />verification and complete an inventory of existing signals, bicycle facilities, crosswalks, <br />bus stop amenities, sidewalks, directional curb ramps, and red curbs <br />SWffRS collision data for the past 10 years <br />Major trip generators along the corridor — to be solicited during the first stage of <br />outreach <br />Right of way and city utility data (water, sewer, storm water) will be provided by the City. <br />Consultant shall create a base map in CAD using high resolution aerials and available as-builts <br />to draw the location of existing curb and gutter, striping, etc. to serve as the foundation for the <br />development of the 10-15% design drawings. This base map may be used to prepare additional <br />maps such as the presentation of existing data and for the first workshop to document input <br />from the community on issues and opportunities. <br />Task 2.1.2 Analyze Data <br />Consultant shall summarize the existing data compiled and collected in previous tasks using <br />clear and concise graphics and maps that can be used during the first community workshop. <br />Specific graphics shall be determined after the data is reviewed, but could include: <br />Maps to illustrate traffic flows and relative levels of bicycle and pedestrian activity <br />A corridor map that illustrates existing pedestrian and bicycle facilities <br />Collision graphics that pivot off the previous work on RWCmoves to summarize key <br />trends or "profiles" on Roosevelt Avenue <br />Page 11 of 20 <br />REV: 03-28-19 PR <br />ATN/AGR.2019.075/Fehr and Peers <br />
