Consultant may use the ESRI "CityEngine" tool, to provide bird's eye views and <br />perspectives of both the residential and commercial segments of Roosevelt Avenue. <br />Consultant shall develop three-dimensional renderings for up to one (1) unique opportunity site. <br />Prior to developing the outreach graphics, Consultant shall review initial sketches of the <br />alternatives with City staff to determine which alternatives should be advanced to the public. <br />Consultant shall coordinate with City staff and key stakeholders to develop a matrix of benefits <br />and drawbacks for each of the two alternatives and to determine which additional quantitative <br />and qualitative factors are needed for comparison of relative pros and cons. These may include <br />transit travel time, bicycle safety or comfort, traffic volume or speed impacts, economic <br />considerations, green infrastructure opportunities, and other factors. The outcomes shall be <br />presented in a comparison matrix and shall include high-level cost ranges for each alternative. <br />Deliverables: <br />Up to two (2) improvement alternatives for up to four (4) representative segments of the <br />corridor <br />Existing and proposed cross sections <br />Up to two (2) three-dimensional alternatives for one opportunity site <br />High-level cost estimates for improvement alternatives <br />Matrix of benefits and drawbacks of each alternative for different road users <br />Task 4.2 Additional Three -Dimensional Renderings (Optional: will proceed only <br />after City Project Manager authorization) <br />Base on the need of the project, Consultant shall develop additional three-dimensional <br />renderings to supplement the visuals prepared in Task 4 for the second round of community <br />outreach. The allocated budget for this task is for each additional opportunity site, which will <br />include.two (2) improvement alternatives at one site. <br />Deliverables: <br />Three-dimensional renderings for up to two (2) improvement alternatives for an <br />additional opportunity site <br />Task S. Refinement of Preferred Alternative <br />Based on the outcome of Tasks 3 and 4, Consultant shall conduct an internal working session to <br />develop a draft preferred alternative sketch. This alternative shall then be presented and further <br />coordinated with City staff to achieve buy -in on finalizing the preferred alternative. It is assumed <br />that the preferred alternative will consist of a combination of improvements identified in each of <br />the two alternatives completed in Task 4. Graphics shall be developed to illustrate the preferred <br />alternative design, including refinements to the three-dimensional cross-sections and <br />perspective rendering.
