Existing topographic data <br />Task 2.2: Site Visit and Walk <br />Consultant shall conduct a site visit during school peak and off-peak hours. This site <br />walk will allow the project team to note the existing field conditions and to make <br />observations. City staff will also attend the site visit. <br />Task 2.3: Data Collection <br />After reviewing the available data and site visit, Consultant shall determine what <br />additional data might be needed and a schedule for its collection with the City's Project <br />Manager. Consultant shall collect traffic data including traffic turning movements, <br />vehicular and bicycle and pedestrian counts as follow: <br />• For Jefferson and Cleveland intersection: <br />12 -hour count with peak morning and peak afternoon counts <br />• For Jefferson and Clinton: <br />14 -hour count with peak morning and peak afternoon counts as well as video <br />recording to be used for the yield study <br />Consultant shall collect the new counts prior to the community meeting and before the <br />end of the school year. <br />Other information to be evaluated are the estimated and existing bicycle and pedestrian <br />demand, desired lane and curb lane use, available public right of way, and stormwater <br />management requirements. <br />City staff will provide the utility data for city utilities (water, sewer, and storm water). <br />Consultant shall obtain other utility data such as power and communication data from <br />the providers. <br />Task 2.4: Existing Conditions Summary <br />Consultant shall use the exiting and collected data to develop an Existing Conditions <br />Summary Memo that will detail the baseline conditions, project needs, constraints and <br />assumptions and will identify the opportunities, risks and risk mitigation approach. The <br />Existing Condition Summary shall include the Jefferson/Cleveland and Jefferson/Clinton <br />intersections and their immediate environs. <br />Information shall be presented in a clear manner and further illustrated through tables, <br />maps and graphics in such a way that is accessible to the general public.
